Screwing over artists and small businesses
I used to love this app, but they are going to start forcing payment for new memberships through Apple and not your choice through Patreon. This means they will be taking a solid 30% cut from your membership to stuff the wallets of their board members. Once again, capitalism ruins everything.

It’s a pretty good app, but I’m going to delete to support the patreon creators. I don’t need apple to view Patreon, and they certainly don’t deserve a third cut of people’s subscriptions.

30% Fee? Really?
Apple being a greedy pig as per usual and taking a 30% cut of pledges for having the good grace to use this mediocre app will hopefully be one more nail in its antitrust coffin As for patreon: you don’t need to be on this store. Forcing creators to switch to subscription billing just to comply with apple will do nothing other than make it even more difficult for small creators to keep track of their funds. Consider not doing that

Stealing from creators
Apple is drastically increasing fees they charge to allow you to support the artists you love, and not only is Patreon rolling over, they’re changing how artists get paid so as not to upset the rent seekers at Apple. Delete the app. Never pay for anything using Apple apps again. Remember when Apple innovated? Now they just copy Enron, stealing from creators AND supporters to make a line go up.
Can’t have stress
I love MTN especially the brothers podcast. I was getting anxious and upset with corporate media and I started playing with my phone to find a good podcast that would give me facts and data instead just news people’s opinion or theory on issues. It calmed me down and got me laughing. I love being part of this community. Love to everyone. OM shanti
