Peak - Brain Training

I use Peak for quite some time and it is becoming a bit ‘same old-same old’. I keep on updating thinking new content will be introduced but so far ‘same old-same old’. The language games are the same, the focus and problem solving games are the same. I no longer find it challenging to get back to play the games. The payed content within is more or less similar to the games that are already available so it makes me question if I should keep my subscription. And I enjoyed this app very much.

Far too many ads. I seemed to spend more time waiting for the ads to finish than actually playing the games. Such a shame. Anyway, I’ve had enough so I am deleting this app now.

Calling all seniors! PEAK brain games have been an important part of my daily routine for nearly three years. If I feel tired after a spell of concentrated effort on the day’s assignment, I have a rest then resume, refreshed. Being in my ninth decade I don’t always have the same energy as time goes by but always try to improve on my game scores. I am without family and really appreciate all the positive feedback and support from my Peakster ‘family’ in the day’s summary. If you are aware of normal everyday happenings, I recommend you take up the challenges of the interesting games and recover and expand your dormant brain. Keeping alert rubs off on everything you do in maintaining your independence, gaining confidence and staying focused on the task in hand. In short - greater enjoyment of life. Give it a go and keep it up, even on your less good days. You will surprise yourself! Eileen

Reasonable activities for brain training BUT constant ads are a time waste

I got really into doing the workouts and I built up a good streak and score. But I got a bit addicted to a few games and kept playing until I reached new achievements, then it kept building and one of them I even reached the point where I couldn’t get any more. A lot of them I think are less to do with the skills and more to do with chance and just getting to know the game rather than applying the problem solving skills or similar. Good way to keep busy but I’ve burnt myself out now!
