It takes the sting out of trying to get paper requests to the doctors surgery, for a long wait, to then having to go to wherever they sent it, to have the pharmacy tell you “no prescription has been sent over” etc….this way, I click a few buttons, press continue a few times and it’s done. A few days later, the prescription turns up at my door. The only reason for knocking a star off is because they’re often out of stock of one of my essential items and I have had to go without for a couple of days, which is dangerous. I fix that by ordering a week early and explaining why when prompted. Not had a problem since!
I’ve added my exemption certificate in many times. Always “forgets” it. My name is wrong in all despite calling to get it fixed. Login doesn’t support Face ID. I could go on…
Highly recommend, great service, they remind me to order repeat prescriptions, renew prescription, pre payment etc Also inform me if my GP has not approved the prescription so alerting me to any issues. Medication has always arrived correctly and timely.
Don’t even track your qty and don’t remind when running low. I’m going to change next holiday
In transferring from Lloyds Direct, I have had to re-add all my medication manually. Some glitch meant it only saved half the meds I need, and only completed an order for half my prescription. You have to select individual meds by your preferred brand name for some reason (which isn’t relevant to me) and you can’t state the number you need (e.g. you can only tell them the medication name and dosage, not ‘28 a month’ or ‘56 a month’). Needless to say, this has caused significant issues for me and my surgery, who are baffled by the odd requests. Meanwhile, my prescription is due and I’m facing possible delays which is very dangerous. Just not fit for the purpose it’s set up for.
This app is very handy and it is wonderful that it reminds you to order too. Although the only thing is, it does not work on WiFi only mobile data. Still, it’s wonderful and saves the nhs lots of money.
App does not show how much medication is left Also does not show dosage
I rarely review stuff, but this app is brilliant, I tested it out on some medication a needed, as my pharmacy takes 2 weeks to get back to me. It was really easy to sign up, the layout Is easy to navigate, you can scan the barcode of your medication which is great. But the best thing is, they notify you on the app every step of the way, it said to me on Friday it was estimated for Monday (today) and it arrived and was posted through the letter box ready for me when I was home. First time round I would say it takes about 7 days for your meds, but hopefully as this is now my default pharmacy it should be quicker next time. Would recommend to anyone
As an iPad user who uses the Magic Keyboard the fact it will not work in landscape mode is an annoyance. The menus wont even appear unless you switch to portrait. Definitely a down grade on the LLoyds Direct App which works in both landscape and portrait.
