Philips Air+

Despite resetting and reconnecting my Purifier 600 so many times, the app only remains linked to it for a matter of days before it no longer recognises the device. When it is linked, it’s surprisingly slow at getting the latest device status on startup - usually 10-15 seconds. Compared to every other wireless device, this is rather archaic! Not to mention the fact that these work on 2.4 GHz networks - it’s 2024!

Useful app, but I want to be able to control the purifier through the Home app

This app logs you out too soon and mfa via email is clunky. Needs Face ID

App looks promising and is visually appealing but it’s lost my brand new purifier three times in 24 hours, meaning I’ve had to reset the machine and pair it to the app again. Not the experience I’d expect from something with the Philips name.

Useless is an understatement. Since the recent update, it keeps logging me out and logging me in briefly just to remove my device from the list so I can’t see when the filter need ls cleaning or replacing. Further, it then requires pairing the device to get it on the list with empty stats, just to remove it myself to pair AGAIN just for that time to show the stats. Upon which point it logs me out and back in AGAIN thereby repeating the cycle endlessly. There has to be a better app than this to control and see the stats of my air purifier. Because this one isn’t it.

When the app connects all is good. But quite frequently loses connection and shows a different status to the air purifier. Quickest way of solving this is unplugging and then plugging it back in. Would be better to have a reset feature on the purifier which does this. As it stands app is 90% useless

The app is great when it actually works - when I have to sign in again you have to set up your device and if it’s already paired it’s nightmare and can take multiple attempts to put it right agajn

Spend money on a brand like Phillips you think it will be all straight forward. Sick to death of having to pair up all the time. Absolutely useless!!!!!

The Phillips air filter is pretty good at what it does but has 3 main problems. 1. The panel LED display is too bright which is annoying at night. 2. The panel had no “lock” feature meaning that children can go mess with the settings. You only need to brush past it to change a setting by accident 3. Setting up the wireless side of things is a massive pain and needs you to read themanual to put it back on and it falls off again because the control panel is so easily disturbed Most of these problems relate to a super annoying and over sensitive control panel
