The app keeps getting worse and worse where is the quality control in regards to testing now it doesn’t even load!!

Excellent boiler so far, one year in. The app on the other hand gets worse every update. Randomly loses connection to the boiler (when the wifi is just fine). Like today after yesterday’s app update, as expected. Which makes the app rather pointless. All recent reviews point to similar issues. Yet they remain unresolved.

It is incredible that Viessmann have not acted on the terrible reviews that they receive. While the boilers are great, the terrible service from the app development team has led me to recommend no one purchase a Viessmann product. The shortcomings are well documented in other reviews and the standard developer response of wanting to analyse the problem and find a solution is nonsense. #wedefinitelydon’tcare

App won’t load so stuck on loading screen. It has just progressively been getting worse. I have also previously left a review and looks to have been removed!

The app started off slowly and now doesn’t even load the front page when I open it up. I’ve had a PT2 for 2 years and the app has just got worse and worse to the point it is now useless. Shame as it has some great features for fine tuning.

App has gotten worse!!! Past few days it gets stuck on the startup screen for eternity. Even restarting the app and my phone does not make a difference. Previously when it did start, I could not connect to my boiler, told me that one wasn’t installed. I’ve lost count with deleting and reinstalling the app. A good apps wouldn’t fail like this, it worked fine up until a few months ago.

I’ve knocked off two stars after spending some more time with the ViCare app. Surprisingly there’s no way to schedule the heating to turn on/off - you can only switch between Reduced, Normal and Comfort temps. If you manually turn the heating on, it uses the scheduled temp, so at a time when your schedule is set to reduced it probably won’t do anything. If I haven’t used the app for a while I’ll have to start the app twice to get it to connect. There’s no manual or instructions for the app! I set the max flow rate to 60 and diagnostics says it’s 78. Cannot find “Party mode” or Economy mode - I think that’s because Weather Comp mode disables it but who knows?

Hard to navigate Need a heating engineers knowledge to understand heating curves and slopes

I am having to delete and then reinstall this app 2-3 times a week.

Using the app on iPhone constantly need to log out and login or re install the app. Because no connection spinning wheel of doom…… fed up with it. Wi-Fi connection to room sensors is hopeless.
