Piper’s Pet Cafe: Solitaire

I wrote a lengthy review that was never replied too…. We know that Triple Dot/Touch Ten has made a bundle on the game since it began, however, ripping people off who support you is NOT cool or in the spirit of game play, there are a group of us that have noticed that you do not credit the total amount of coins we have won per hand. At first I thought it was just me, then we started talking, and taking screenshots and made a few videos of the game play and 100% you are not crediting the full amount of coins won per hand. That is like biting off the hand that feeds you. So because we all love the game and support the game this is how you show your thanks…… REALLY NOT COOL…..

Enjoyed this game for about 30 levels then didn’t have enough to play on without many pop up adverts to buy energy. Deleted this game then restored and had to start from beginning. Would not recommend as if you want to pay to play then this game is for you!

I was looking for a game I could play without getting stressed out by having to try levels over and over. So far, the game has been exciting and challenging enough but without stress. As a neurodivergent person I find it perfect for me - it plays to my ADHD hyperfocus tendencies without becoming tedious or repetitive.

I have to agree with other reviewers on this, there seems to be some hiccups that only work on the creators behalf. First, why do you feel to work with such large numbers? I suspect you felt it would give a subconscious perk of value for money, but it works just the opposite when on higher levels you are paying over 11k for a wild card. Same issue winning a hand. You are not always credited your win amount. At first I thought it was me, then I got a trusty pen and paper out and sure enough, not every turn, but a fair amount you are not credited the correct amount. On a positive note, the graphics are fantastic, although there is a lot of waiting just to relocate the players, speeding up the walking would negate that. The story line is good and you can see that a lot of time has been put into the writing and creating the story. For me, and this is a personal point, I cannot stand the Pet Palace segment, if I could skip it I would, the sound of Staci Hollywood’s voice is hideous and I have to mute her, I hope I finish this part quickly. Please fix the flaws and you will go from a good game to an amazing game.

This isn’t the first solitaire game on the market and it won’t be the last; and while that side of it is fun enough you do need to bear in mind that this style of solitaire presentation - much like Klondike - is inherently random and often results in unsolvable puzzles. You can try it yourself with real cards. Lay them out as they went out in the game and try to find a solution. Many times you can’t. However, bear this in mind - and also the fact that because of it you should not spend any money at all on this game because you’ll be throwing it away - and you’ll find the core gameplay to be fun, if frustrating at times. The game has a few ways of throwing free coins at you which is okay. You’ll often find yourself in a position where you can’t play for an hour though. As for the “story” mode? It’s awful. It’s the same cafe builder “pick one of three decorations” stuff, coupled to a love story couple to a mystery drama that’s ten-a-penny these days. It’s as badly written as you’d expect, the characters are all completely unlikable (except Bean!) and the actual interface for the game is frustratingly laggy and slow. I have so many more tokens than I can be bothered spending because it’s just so unsatisfying to interact with this game mode. Characters have to move to a new location, yammer on about inane nonsense, suddenly go off on tangents (you’ll often be in the middle of a conversation about love or a possible mystery and out of nowhere in the middle of it, someone will pipe up “let’s pick chairs for this room!”), and every tap feels like it just takes an eon to actually do anything.

I went to try and build more things in the cafe but when I go on it it’s telling me you have to be connected to the internet to download the next chapter which i am at home and it still doesn’t let me download it if anyone has had this problem how do I fix this
