Reminds me of photo editing in the 90s
I don’t understand all the great reviews here. There’s plenty of reasons, but the final straw for me was text tools. When you choose to add text with the plus button, it gives you a large number of fonts to choose from but all they say is “TEXT”, not the font name! Then to resize the text, there are no resize handles, you have to go into another menu and drag a slider. There’s more reasons but that’s an idea of why I say that’s the way things were handled 20+ years ago in software. Not for me.
Kerning
Really needs inter character kerning. Please. Otherwise great app. But it really does need kerning.

Had it and never used it until now!
I bought this app years ago! It cost me nothing! I saw someone on YouTube that uses this app and man!! I had a photo editor on my iPhone for years and never used it! Until now! It has everything! I can draw! Edit photos or any image! It has basic shapes and all the features you need to do graphic designs! I wish it had vector and animation but I think I’ll be asking to much for such cheap price! I wish it also had more brushes or that I could download some external! But overall this app is amazing! I can sadly say that I had wasted money on adobe, VSCO and other editor apps!
Files Disappearing
been enjoying the app for years so not giving it 5 stars feels ingenuine but recently my files been disappearing and losing hours of progress aswell as some just not opening, thank you for your time.
Photos extension doesn’t work
Photos extension doesn’t work in latest updates on IOS 18.1. All you get is blank screen.
Brush selector crashes the app
Normally Pixelmator is a great app. But I recently jumped back in and it keeps crashing when I try to go to the brush selector after choosing paint and erase. I can use the last brush selected for paint or erase, but obviously that’s very limiting Using latest iOS 18 and app updates

I can’t figure out how to use this. If anybody can send me an easy way to use this, I greatly appreciate it.
