Bien, pero con carencias y poca coherencia entre apps
Al contrario que su compañera de escritorio, no permite sustituir un color por otro, por poner un ejemplo. Para ello hay que comprar otra app, Photomator. Y ninguna de estas dos apps, ni Pixelmator ni Photomator, permite hacer dibujo vectorial en iOS, lo que sí es posible con la aplicación Pixelmator de escritorio. Una pena este desorden. Hacer comprar una segunda app (Photomator) y encima que las funcionalidades de cada una de ellas sean diferentes en MacOS y en iOS. Y la carencia de no poder hacer dibujo vectorial en iOS. Mal.
Sencillo, pero eficaz y permite editar sólo determinadas partes de una imagen
Sencilla, fácil de utilizar pero con lo que realmente necesito para retocar una foto con las herramientas que aún no encuentras en la app nativa Fotos. Con Pixelmator puedo editar saturación, nitidez, luminosidad, etc en determinadas partes de una foto (muy cómodo con el Pencil) e incluso clonar. Y si, puedes trabajar con capas, texto, figuras…
ERROR AL GUARDAR
Se acabó, no aguanto más esta app. Fallos continuos y errores al guardar el proyecto. Es muy inestable y provoca que pierdas decenas de minutos de trabajo porque da error al guardar. Fue muy buena, pero hace muchos meses que comenzaron a actualizarla y la rompieron. Voy a buscar una alternativa, aunque sea peor o más cara, mientras me guarde el proyecto ya será mucho mejor que Pixelmator.

Es una herramienta potente pero a la vez muy intuitiva y fácil de usar.

Me alegra saber que siguen desarrollando esta App, no obstante, algunas herramientas le faltan pulido. Las herramientas de selección no son nada precisas, seleccionan zonas que no deben sin posibilidad de seleccionar una área sin dedicar mucho tiempo. Algunas veces prefiero encender el PC y acabar editando en PS porque termino antes. También es muy necesario poder seleccionar el grosor del pincel mediante botones [+] [-], la barra de selección no es para nada precisa y acabo en un grosor que no quiero. En definitiva, este editor de imágenes es una muy buena solución para smartphone pero debe afinar las herramientas, porque tiene todo lo necesario para ser un éxito rotundo.

What have you done?
Latest update has essentially crippled the app. I was using it every day for years. Now I can’t use it at all. It’s all well and good adding the latest bells and whistles, but I can no longer edit photos on the app, which is what I wanted it for.
