The jazziest white noise app
No clue what it is but playing Poolsuite just makes me work, I can always rely on it for good tunes to work to. Good vibes and a pretty app too.
Aggressively ‘80s, but in a good way
I never thought the perfect app would be a cross between an Apple Macintosh Classic II covered in coloured plastic wrap, like the plastic colour overlays on a Space Invaders arcade machine’s CRT display, and Spotify but with 0.001% of the songs. But oh what a 0.001%. It’s not music from the 1980s, but music infused with the 1980s. It’s like if a handful of the best dance music technicians from 1987 had a bunch of synths, sequencers, and laptops from 2017 fall through a swirling, pulsating wormhole in space-time in a Golan-Globus Cannon Group movie (all the best time travel movies did things in blocks of whole decades), and the tunes they made got locked in a box buried in the Scottish Highlands marked “DO NOT OPEN until nostalgia becomes critically essential”. Poolsuite delivers in Woolworths bags jam packed full of Kenner action figures and cans of Quatro. A dithered 1-bit UI never looked so good. A music app never felt so right.

Playlists for memories of a distant past
Listening to this delightful little radio sends me back in time, and space, inside the brain of a human being I’ve never been. Nonetheless this nice human being seems familiar, I can definitely relate and the urge for a drink becomes irresistible. I close my eyes and follow the rhythm with my left foot thinking: if only I could have the random button and be constantly surprised!

There’s lots of music and you can just listen and leave it on in the background with your phone locked whilst doing housework or reading or gardening it just carries on it’s brilliant 😎 It’s really relaxing and I’m really enjoying it i haven’t heard a lot of the music before there’s so much choice I’m really liking it I’m really impressed Well done 👏👏👏👏👏 Definitely recommended 5stars 👍 please keep up the good work and thanks again

Makes me happy and sad in equal measures
The music here - I’ve never heard before. The feelings and memories the music provokes - so familiar. I’m transported to having a cocktail in Las Vegas by just listening to any track on here. God I miss Vegas...
