Totally useless
This app is useless. It can not do a session without crashing. This is just not good enough especially for Porsche. This app give Porsche a bad name. The crashing needs to be fixed ASAP.

The Track Precision App is your digital track tool for automatically recording video and Car Data and analysing it afterwards.
The Porsche Track Precision App is available for the following Porsche models in combination with the Sport Chrono Package and Porsche Connect equipment options:
- 991/981 GT vehicles from model year 2015
- 991 II/982 from model year 2017 (from week 45/2016)
- All 992 derivatives
- Cayenne, Panamera and Taycan from model year 2022

Variable use options
With the 'Laptimer' function, you can automatically measure your lap time on the race track and display the real-time deviation or your performance live.
For trips on public roads, the 'Freedrive' function can be used to capture special moments with photos and videos along the route.
Automatic lap time recording
Thanks to precise GPS data, lap times can be automatically recorded.
You can select your desired track from over 300 predefined race tracks worldwide or simply create your own.
Precise Car Data recording
The Porsche Track Precision App is connected with various control units through the Porsche Communication Management system or a special app control unit and records accurate data from the vehicle sensors.
Video analysis
While driving, use your smartphone or the optional Porsche Dashcam to record up to two videos from different angles to analyse later.
Videos are available to view on your smartphone right after your drive – enhanced with useful driving data to improve your performance.
Driving performance analysis
By connecting to the vehicle sensors, the app enables you to analyse additional driving data after your drive, which can be compared with previous drives, allowing you to improve your performance, for example, in relation to the steering angle, braking pressure and the accelerator pedal's position. Videos and driving data can also be exported to your PC for detailed analysis.
Share your driving experience with friends through social networking sites.
Community
Share your recordings and routes with other Porsche drivers in the community.
Search, find, analyse and compare community recordings.
Drive predefined routes created by other community members.

v4.04 doesn’t NOT work with PCM 5.0!!
I have been using Porsche Track Precision APP during track days, it’s a great tool which can record video as well as range of data like timing…etc. It works fine until my last track day. I noticed the APP auto updated to ver. 4.04 a week ago, which is now force me to connect it via car’s wifi hot spot(before, APP works fine with car play connection which is Bluetooth). No matter how I try now, the APP CANNOT connect to the car via hotspot, always keep loading in “Connect your car screen”. My 911(992 MY21) is using PCM 5.0, software has the latest update. Tried different phone, same thing! Anyone has any idea? I really need the app to work😂
crashes when doing lap compare!

Upgraded to 4.0.0 and 4.0.2 and now Recordings crash
I upgraded to 4.0.0 . On first run the DB was upgraded and now whenever I click on a Recording the app crashes. Please fix Update: 4.0.2 still crashes when click on a recording! Update2: 4.0.3 still crashes when click on a recording Please fix urgently
VBO export and database
Since upgrading to 4.0.1 the app has lost some of my previous videos. Also the app crashes as soon as I try to export a vbo.
