Will restrict your account and will Apply credits on your account but when you try to go to use them, it will give you an error and tell you that you need to go through the customer support to figure out why and it will take them days upon days for you to even get a response when they tell you, it will take 6 to 12 hours then they won’t give you an explanation as to why they did it. They just tell you thank you for understanding then in the chat after waiting days.

Btw this and DoorDash, I know when I have trouble with drivers. A lot of times there are long wait times for delivery. I recently had an order stolen, the order went thru three drivers. I even called the restaurant and they told me a disgruntled driver picked up my food all upset. I was in contact with the original driver, they lied and said the food was delayed. Their picture was an Asian man and I was told by the restaurant it was a female picking up my order. Thankfully my order was cancelled and reimbursed, I am home sick. This was not something I wanted to deal with while you don’t feel well. I was looking forward to the food.

Postmates has a really bad system when it comes to drivers canceling on orders. Recently, had a situation where the driver went to the wrong address (no fault of our own) and when he called we answered right away making sure to remind him of the correct address. Instead of listening he ended up driving blocks away and we never received our food. Mind you the food had a*coh*lic beverages . We call him again but he doesn’t answer so we wait another 20 minutes. As this is going on, we escalate the situation to Postmates customer service but by then the driver cancels on us. Instead of Postmates fully refunding us for a meal that we never received— they charge us $15 for an a*coh*l fee. This is absolute nonsense since we didn’t receive the food nor the beverages. After we escalate the situation AGAIN they refund us $5.52. We didn’t accept that since a refund should not be partial. Once we escalated the situation it one more time we finally receive the refund for $15 back however we were still charged $5.52 in tax and we are waiting to see if that will be refunded. Overall, horrible experience with Postmates and their customer service. It should not be on the customer to pay for the negligence of a driver especially one who never made the effort to drop the food off. Additionally, if there is an option for drivers to deliver a*coh*l— a driver who cancels on an order with a*cho*lic beverages (& doesn’t make an effort to taker the order back to the store or the customer) should be penalized. Ridiculous service 0/10 on Postmates.

Liked them before they became Uber. Like Uber Eats, their delivery always arrives at least 30 minutes late, and it’s almost impossible to get help.

Too many fees. I’m always happy to tip a delivery driver well, so I’m not complaining about the driver tip, but once the delivery fee, service fee, and taxes also are factored in, my total is pretty much always double the cost (or more) of the food itself. Not to mention the prices of items on Postmates are usually $1-$2 more than the price of the items on the restaurant menu itself anyways. I’m happy to pay extra, within reason, for the convenience of having food brought to my door, but I just can’t afford double or more what the food is worth. And they never offer any promo discounts that make any meaningful difference in the amount of money I’m spending, since I’m pretty much always just ordering food for myself so I’m not spending $50+ on food before taxes and fees. What was once a convenient service has turned into yet another luxury. I’m so tired of this.

All calls are handled in Middle East call centers. No support at all. Drivers have fictitious names and no licenses. Uber eats does not check on their drivers and don’t care when they open your food. I have begged for communication from Uber eats, they person at the call center actually lane hung up on me. With all on the craziness going on in the world I’d like to know there is accountability to who handles my family’s food.

I ordered 3 items. Two of us have dinner, one is eating cereal. Embarrassing. The refund is microscopic, doesn’t come close to covering the fees, taxes, or tip on that one third. Postmates needs to do better. Ideally they should be making an effort to get me that third meal. Disappointing all around.

ok it was food at first and then I cancelled the order and was waiting to get my money back but I didn’t so I went to my wallet to see if it was there it was gone I was trying to find my money and never did and till this day I ABSOLUTELY HATE THIS APP

I need to order food frequently and thought this service would be perfect. Now, I do not know if the stores know they will get away with this or if drivers pocket some items or if stores make errors this often - but there seem to be problems more often than I would expect. Omitted items all the time - sometimes a complete main item, sometimes drinks etc. it’s a pain when I need to contact customer service and an even bigger pain when my kids or I were waiting (sometimes ages ) to arrive and then some of the stuff we were counting on doesn’t even come. NOW , yesterday part of my order was missing and it seems that Postmates will not reimburse. BUYER BEWARE.

order at 7:30 they cancel at 8:50 they cancel the order real classy
