Pretext

This is an excellent markdown editor, and I am grateful that it is free. The only issue I am experiencing is that the APP crashes when I try to cast a cmd+B shortcut. I am on iPad Pro 11 inch 3rd gen with iPadOS 17.4.1. I am using a Magic Keyboard.

I was looking for a TextEditor equivalent for IOS and found it! It is very resilient and your edits always get trough!

Non-English letters such as umlauts get mangled in the HTML preview.

Very good! Just the essential, nothing more; not as big as 20MB or more for something as simple as this task. More free space for our documents

Just started using it... It's already asking for a review, so 3 stars is all I can give at the moment.

Simple, straightforward tool to take notes in markdown syntax. Very good files app integration: all notes are stored in iOS files. If you want to get ride of all the glimmer and be productive again: this app is for you!

Came across mention of this app on a site rightfully complaining about how iOS Notes inexplicably removed the basic functionality of saving a file to Cryptomator. This solves that. I can now use my device do things with my writings and files that I want to, and in fact bought an iPad to supposedly be able to do. Even if Apple has decided that I no longer need to do them.
