Proximus+: telecom and more

proximus have a nasty habit of bloating out their app with unwanted, unnecessary “features” that confuse and distract. sadly, the core features remain buggy and slow. proximus: you are a mobile provider, not a “lifestyle partner“ ffs

Absolutely impossible experience trying to make payment for Wi-Fi in Belgium from overseas.

Only seems to work when I’m on Wi-Fi or I have data … whenever I run out of data and need to reload, it doesn’t work and I’m stuck!!

I only downloaded the app because I wanted to monitor my data usage. Everything else I get through the website. I cannot switch off notifications. I also can’t contact anyone through the app if I have an issue, so what really is it for? I will be deleting the app because it doesn’t work according to the customer’s preferences or needs and will be switching providers as soon as possible.

In keeping with Proximus’ broadband service, this app sometimes works, sometimes doesn’t. If they didn’t have an effective monopoly on the Belgian market, this company would sink without a trace. The log-in screen appears two or three times before you can access the app, and then it’s just down to luck whether it’s actually working. Sometimes it is, sometimes not - there have been a number of times it tells me I don’t have a good enough internet connection to use it. Needless to say, Proximus is my internet supplier.

I have used the chat few times to communicate with Proximus but I have never received an answer...?

The engineer didn’t bother turning up for our internet installation and the next available appointment is over 2 weeks away. We will use a different company instead.

I very much like the new design of the MyProximus app. It is user-friendly, in line with iOS design principles and shows the information you need to know - as a consumer - in a clear way.
