Pump with Elvie

Een geweldige uitvinding! Voordelen: - Je hebt alle vrijheid van bewegen - De app regelt je stimulatie en afkolffase - Makkelijk mee te nemen Nadelen: - Het is veeel TE DUUR voor wat het waard is! Te kostelijk! - Korte batterijduur! - Niet evident om schoon te maken - De sensor die aangeeft dat je elviepomp in pauze staat omdat het vol is, werkt niet goed! - Regelmatig last van lekken - Speciale BH nodig (die ook kostelijk is) om de borstpompen in te stoppen Ik zou ze opnieuw kopen, maar ze zijn helaas hun prijs van 660 euro echt niet waard!

Prima app, zeer eenvoudig in gebruik. Hoeveelheid afgekolfde melk klopt niet. Geeft snel aan dat een reservoir vol is terwijl er nog heel wat ruimte is.

Have to close out of the app MULTIPLE times in order for it to connect to my pump. It will also lose connection mid pump when i haven’t moved and the pump is so close to my phone. It also repeatedly will say the bottle is full and stop pumping when the bottle isn’t even close to being full. It will do this the entirety of the rest of the time i’m pumping and I have to keep pressing play.

I was really excited to track my pumping/supply over time, learn patterns, and work toward boosting supply to keep my little one nourished. Everything is up to date but the Insights stopped working in May, and say it requires at least 4 weeks of data (there is 6 months of sessions in my log). So the app? Eh. Love the Stride, it has worked really well for me.

Love my Elvie! Having free hands while pumping has been a game changer !

I used a plug in pump but I use this one so much more. This one seems to get more milk, is portable, and doesn’t rip my skin up. Super happy a friend recommended it.

Loved the app at first but it started crashing every time I tried to connect my Elvie pump. It’s so frustrating that I can’t m even get the app to stay open any longer.

Easy to control but volume tracker is always way off.

Dear mamas, we going through a lot and don’t need any additional disappointment in our life, so move on and buy something else. This pump is leaking all the time. The app is glitched and connection always lost. Support is unreachable and irresponsible. I did invest $500 in the headache. I can’t use it outside of my house due to the leakage. Free pump covered by my insurance is a 100 times better! Disappointed.

After 5 months of trying to use the Elvie, I can honestly say I tried to get this to work well. The pumps are very hit or miss - sometimes they work well and they work, it’s great! However, I can’t count how many times I’ve been sitting around thinking it’s workin only to pull out the pumps to find that it only worked on one side or not at all. If you are in public and trying to be discreet, it’s not reasonable to peek inside and see if milk is swishing around. The app SHOULD be able to solve this problem, however, the feature that tells you the volume you pumped is unreliable- sometimes saying you’ve pumped a volume you must certainly haven’t as the thing is practically empty. This is more than a mild annoyance - when you are on the brink of engorgement you need to pump right away! When I contacted customer service, I received very generic responses, almost as though they were copy and pasted from some script. Thankfully I used my FSA funds for this, I would’ve been even more irritated had I put this on my registry or purchased with my own post-tax dollars.
