Hatch Sleep Reviews

New Changes

Ifitsnotbroken1 on

United States

Sorry I used to love this App but the recent changes are terrible. Hard to read when waking up w/o glasses on, difficult to change and get back to the main home pages, too dark, etc. please go back to the previous version!

It’s annoying that even an expensive alarm requires a subscription

Iamvipaa on

United States

Tbh I am annoyed that it requires you to pay a subscription just to change a sound it makes in the morning like every other option requires a subscription. I typically wouldn’t spend $170 on a alarm but I was like why not it seems great. More annoyed about the subscription pop upps then anything else. Like as if 170 isn’t enough to pay for alarm already for what it comes with. Feels like they just want to rob you and give you the most little value in return. Sad. I’m disappointed. Wouldn’t recommend

Wind down

The wind down channels help me wind down at night.

AMAZING

InstagramHiHi on

United States

I came to review just because y’all finally combined the morning and night routine into a singular tab. App is seamless, simple, and a clean interface. The sounds and the light color choices are a combo I did not know how I lived without previously.

Connectivity issues

MillerFD3 on

United States

Absolutely terrible software. I’ve spent over an hour trying to get the restore 2 connected to our WiFi multiple times, the WiFi will show it’s connected through the app I’m able to motor my router with, but the hatch will not register its connection. Trash. This is far from the first problem I’ve had with this system. The only help I’ve received is to try moving it closer to the router, if I get them any closer they’ll be stacked on top of eachother. But trust me, that won’t even work (I tried it too)

Dark patterns at work

pyang on

United States

They have fixed my previous gripe about the light randomly turning off. That’s great. My new problem is that you can’t turn on a sound without creating a new routine. I just want to play a noise. I don’t want to create another “step” or deal with any of that programming.

Recent update bricked our Rest 2

BoulderTR on

United States

Had a rest 2 that has worked fine for years. The most recent update (unclear if it’s for our rest or the app) just says updating for hours making the app useless. At the same time the rest is now unresponsive to any inputs. Tried unplugging, logging out and logging back in, logging in on desktop, nothing will make the app complete the update or fix the rest.

Too complicated

beatlesarelove7740 on

United States

When you’re up at two in the morning with a screaming two month old, you want the app to be as user-friendly and simple as possible. There are too many options and too many buttons. There needs to be a simpler interface when you open the app for actually controlling the device instead of making presets that you can cycle through. Nice to have this option, but it’s too complicated when you’re quickly trying to turn something on or off. The controls for sound and light need to be more obvious when you open up the interface instead of having all of these customizable buttons. Something that functions mostly for children I think the app creators have overcomplicated something that needs to be simple for tired and stressed parents, it doesn’t need to be fancy.

Putting it in the garbage.

llllllllllllllll! on

United States

Older version of restore is useless bc it WILL not connect to the app. The app doesn’t work properly and hatch support was a joke. I’ve been messing with this thing to get it to work again for weeks. After several emails with support, I’m throwing this thing in the garbage.

BAIT AND SWITCH! Mandatory Upcharge for “Premium”

W0BBL3S on

United States

This most recent update now adds a monthly subscription for basic features that were previously free, like “rainbow lights”. Bait and Switch! Truly disappointing to try and squeeze a few bucks out of your customer base.
