How much does PURE cost?
PURE has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is £11.49.
I've been using the app for a while, experiencing both its pros and cons. However, after one update, I was logged out of my account and have been unable to log in for over 6 months. I have sent 11 emails to their support team without receiving any assistance. This is the worst support team I've ever encountered. My impression is that they absolutely do not care about user experience. Thus is just unacceptable, especially for a paid app. I've tried troubleshooting on my own but nothing works. It's incredibly frustrating to be ignored and left without access to my account and all the data stored within the app. Additionally, the app has had various bugs and issues in the past, but this experience has been the most disappointing. The lack of customer support and care for users is evident, and I would not recommend this app to anyone. They need to seriously improve their customer service and app reliability.
Big fan, not anymore
I used to love using pure. Until I got banned today with no explanation. I can bet with confidence that someone reported me because I didn’t reply to their message, that is what some of the types of men on the app are like.
I thought there’d be more support for women on the app faced with unsolicited nudes and offensive comments often. There aren’t even many report options to select from.
I can say with confidence I did nothing wrong, and it’s maybe because I’m not a paying user that it was easier for them to just ban me. They’ve lost a fan for life. Disappointing.
I was also talking to a (rare) lovely guy, and now that’s gone. Totally sad. I have emailed and chased this up and waiting now for a reply. I will hope to approach senior customer service before taking my experience to some sort of ombudsman or women’s safety organisation.

Misogynistic scam app with racist values- makes money off men gifting women
Women see none of the proceeds from gifting, the app does not regulate the male behaviour and just use the men for cash for gifting- women pay the price by being harassed and objectified. I was sent repeated inappropriate images and abusive instant messages from men I hadn't matched with. The app regulators are also racist and islamophobic- they block users for their beliefs (but not misconduct and harassment towards women, they make too much money off that).
There is nothing liberating or community focused about this scam app. They are using women's desirability and male isolation to bankroll themselves, it's horrible for women on this app I can honestly say.
My experience with Pure
As a concept it is a really good place to meet like minded people. From an app management and safety perspective though, it needs a lot of work.
Luckily I had my wits about me while using the app, a lot of problematic behaviour that goes unnoticed because the only thing or key words they moderate is screenshotting and leaving the app. Reporting doesn’t do a lot either! Unfortunately I was banned for a misunderstanding that pure were not willing to even discuss with me. It’s a shame because it had a lot of potential.

Why does everything now need a subscription to use properly all I wanted to do was join an app and try to meet new people I’ve done all the others this was the first time using Pure can’t even write a bio without having to pay for subscription

Would be nice to try it out for atleast a week for free without having to PAY for a membership - then having the choice to continue using the app after that or move on. Seems more like a cash grab this way, although the app does look nice.

As a woman, I came across so many fake profiles and very often it happens that you chat with someone, and agree to meet each other after exchanging photos and after that, they just leave the chat! The app is not secure at all! It should be standard that every profile is verified! this app should be banned on the App Store
