It’s not just me, lots of complaints online with no good answers or support. I really wanted to use this and would have considered in app purchases if it were good enough... The app goes to a black screen like it’s trying to log in and just stays there. I’ve tried reinstalling with no success also.
The good: It was quick to download. It uninstalled quickly. The bad: it didn’t work at all. I got a login screen. I entered my propellor.... sorry..... reason studios account details and wham. Black screen. Sorry, I’ll stick with my desktop version of reason thanks. Very disappointed.
This APP teams well with my Reason 10.2 as well as a good team player for Ableton’s Live.
This isn't Reason compact, it's Europa Lite. I struggle to see how this would fit into my music making process in any meaningful way. It's missing features that I would want in a mobile app. It does sound great, and what you can do is cool, but come on propellerhead, as a long time reason user and massive fan of propellerhead products, you just left me disappointed. I can't do any thing on this app that I can't do 10 times faster and easier if I just pull out my laptop. It doesn't make me think in different ways or generate new ideas. It just makes me want to go to my computer and play with something more useable. Also, you log into your reason account but you still have to pay to use Europa? I have the full version of Reason, upgrade immediately with each new release and already have Europa as a rack extension and a VST. Why would I pay again for something that just seems like a watered down toy and doesn't give me any additional functionality. That felt like a bit of a slap in the face. Who was the demographic you were going for here? Were you making a product for hardcore Reason users cause I don't think you got the mark. I'm still a massive Reason fan, but ultimately I'm just a little disappointed with this app. And maybe change the name to 'Europa Sequencer' by Propellerhead cause that's all this is. 😞

These companies should be sued for continuing to sell broken products. Either update the app or take it off the store. Apple needs to come up with a system to remove this unsupported garbage!

It seems like, Wanting to term this app Reason The Void, they instead went for the “Compact” If it’s compact, From this moment I’ll tell everyone my height is 2 feet .2 inches Original height is 5 , 11 One last thing if I could show the people the original image of Reasons Whole rack count, None would even bother to hit it. Bass, drums and a synth , So, this is the standard you stooped down, 15 years ago my first track, in it reason played a huge roll. CAUSTIC LOOKS LIKE MOUNT OLYMPUS COMPARED TO THE COMPACT! FEHHH
Like the title says it’s very easy to use and fun with a lot of features offered for free. There’s also plenty of packs that you can purchase via a one time fee. Unfortunately, you’re only able to make a song that goes for four bars and just loops. I’d give five stars if it were able to make a song for more bars.
