Just downloaded this today and as the title says... The fact that there are reviews complaining about this that are already over a year old is absolutely frightening. Maybe it's time to cancel Reason+ if this is how they care about their software. 👎
Can’t get past the advert screen.
Everything else you do is perfect. And this is the perfect groove box… if not for one thing. Being limited to 8 bars kind of makes the whole thing pointless. I find myself using the free version of Auxy more often, even though there’s only two lead sounds, because I can lay out a full track. I can’t imagine paying for the full instruments if I can only use them for 8 bars, and the integration with AUM and AB is hardly enough to compensate. I feel let down because everything else by Propellerhead has blown my mind but even the full version doesn’t even feel like a demo with the 8 bar limit.
Cool app to lay out quick ideas. Needs an undo redo button though.
After logging in it goes straight to a black screen and just sits there. It’s been like this for a long time. Worthless app, which is sad because I own reason 11 and have been using reason since the first version (which I still have) Please fix
I’ve tried this on several phones, black screen. Didn’t even get to try it out. Waste of time, do better.
Been using this app for a while now and always impressed with the in-depth synth engines provided. Only a couple of things holding it back like the inability to make a full track, Not being able to add more synths to the project, no update for 7 months (as of this review), new packs needed.
Black screens when I try to login
I really love using reason compact for its intuitiveness and ease of use. However I find it’s midi connection doesn’t work with USB midi interface for my Yamaha keyboard. I would love to be able to play with the synths I made myself. Also I wish I could create some full tracks. I feel like I could make a full song in compact if given the opportunity. Propellor head, if you read these reviews, I hope you’ll consider expanding the app in that manner. I know users will be able to make some impressive tracks if given the opportunity. On the side, recently was going to purchase the Europa to unlock it fully and found I was unable when the day before the option was there along with the sound packs. I don’t know if support for the app is no longer available or if the app is experiencing some sort of bug in the purchase system.
The app feels completely unfinished, and really doesn’t get updated with much. Feels like there’s features they were going to add but just didn’t. It has so much potential to be a great minimal music production tool like the OP-1 but is just so half baked. It would be amazing if you could add as many devices as you want per track, like Groovebox app.
