Rip Off

Why after 2 years am I being asked to pay for everything again ?

Broken, don’t bother

As a previous review pointed out, the app opens with an ad that’s impossible to close, meaning it’s unusable. Bit embarrassing, really.

Unusable

Fired up the app and the first thing I see is an ad that I cannot close to actually use the app. Disappointing. Don’t waste your time with this.

Not working - screen is blank after log in

iOS 15.6.1 iPhone XR I already have a propellerhead/reason account, I have downloaded this and when prompted to ‘log in’ it just goes blank after I enter my account details. The app is essentially a 200mb black screen.

Cheap shot for the ego, not for creativity.

Very limited and basic sketch pad. My main gripes are the limited features of the sequencer and the fixed scales. There’s no ability for shuffle, fills, rachets or even the ability to manually tap in notes. The things that take time to program and make interesting music would be ideal to edit on the move with an iPad, rather than having to edits these sat at a desk. Also the ‘piano roll’ for europa and monotone are in fixed scales, major or minor with no option to switch between per track. This limits any creativity and makes the end results rather predictable. Do not expect this to enhance your creative palette, just to affirm what you already know. A cheap shot for the ego. ***another issue unresolved. If you activate the chord or arpeggiator, when exporting the files into reason it doesn’t play the notes in the same way. This means a completely different melody is printed compared to what you’ve composed in the app. Pointless

Cheaper upgrade to reason 12 with the lite version

I use reason at college and using compact I’ve been able to import cool sounds I made just a bonus you do seem to have cheaper upgrade to reason12 baring in mind the lite versions limitation you could export to other free daw like cakewalk per example as audio file.

Please update

Beautiful sounds. Not being able to record automation is a real shame, please do not abandon this app. Exporting individual track feature is also essential.

Access projects on all devices

I’ve started using Compact, it’s been a few years since I have worked on anything. Already have Reason 10 full, but started working on a track on the iPhone while on a huge commute home. As I found it fiddly I tried to jump onto the iPad, but immediately found that I can’t access the project that I started on the iPhone! Is this something something that will be introduced on your next release, or is it something I’m missing?

Pointless

Only 1 instance of each instrument? No actual keyboard? No proper mixing other than instrument volume? Seems rather pointless to me.
