I bought this app many years ago but hardly use it, because I can’t connect it via Audiobus with Cubasis. And that’s a pity, because Europa is one of the best sounding synthesizers on iPhone. I always blamed my old fashioned phone, an iPhone SE 1st generation, but I finally upgraded to an iPhone 14 Plus and the problem still exists. I see in YouTube that it worked some years ago, but the problem today is that in iOS16 you can’t give Reason Compact permission to connect to the Local Network. That’s why I advice everyone not to buy the IAP’s. If it would work, I’d give this app 5 stars. Only if you also own a PC (which I gave up 8 years ago: I only use an iPhone) with Reason software, it might - maybe - a good idea to purchase the IAP’s. - Antares van Groningen @BitrageNL

I would have given this app a solid 5-stars but it makes me angry how little improvement there is after months and months. They tease you into unlocking modules for money, and thats fine... as long as they keep adding functions. The rack still has space and even their other app FIGURE has more functions. I hate it when companies only do things for money, and lure people in with some innovative stuff and then.... silent Come on! DO something! Prove us wrong! Cause i love the little working bits you do have

Update: midi is a thing now, so you can use a controller... to play notes... no midi learn that I can find for knobs. Step in the right direction though and it shows that they listen to feedback. Shows enough promise for me to have committed to buying the app. One thing that I find really weird though is that you can’t save patches on your iPad. That just doesn’t make any sense to me. The engine is sweet though and without the demo resetting your settings you can do some really cool stuff. ————— Demo is really limited by the annoying pop ups that come at you at any page change making it impossible to actually play around with it and demo it. Would be less annoying if it came up every 30 seconds :l No midi in is the real killer though and sequencing is limited to one pattern. So you’ll have to either make a project for every pattern or you have to play on a touch screen, which honestly isn’t a great experience. Sound engine looks interesting but without easy manipulation (midi could fix this) it just doesn’t click. Flipping between pages non stop isn’t a great workflow sadly.

Sinds the new iOS update the export function fails. Please fix this please. Further more I recommend this app because it’s “Awesome” !!!

How can you call this reason? All that can be done is creation of a singular 2 measure loop fragment. No multiple tracks with combined instruments. This software is by far nothing close to a real full blown musical creation app. And it’s not impossible to make that. Look at Cubasis and Garageband. Propellerheads is so fixed on making money that this all you can come up with. You don’t give te power to the composer at all.

Very badly managed, poor designed, unfinished product. Nothing is works in there, what is the point to bring out app which nobody can really use? Moreover, since I’ve downloaded it Propellerheads spamming me DAILY!!! I’ve received many email from it where they trying hard to promote it and asking me what I think of it, also showing some strange people (they’ve called ‘professionals’ making ‘award winning’ stuff on it)... Seriously? On what level of disgrace are you dear Propellerheads? Or let me put it this way, when did you hired all those low educated wannabes and why? Update. 25.12.2018. Ive just received a feedback from so called developer where they called me rude... 🤣🤣🤣🤣 The level of disgrace is much lower than I expected! Keep up!

Hi propeller heads great of you for making this app really like using it. Supper great app but at the moment there not much devices but Europa, I hope you are planning on adding multiple other instruments like would be nice to also be able to make a beat like with redrum or Kong. Also to have a real arranger instead of having a piano roll. 8 bars is nice for a start but would be great if it is posible to make a whole song instead of a loop, I like how the keys Look but would prefer if it was more as in figure like adding extra demential when going up or down the same key like pitch or that it is route to a Lfo or something. I have not jet checked the export function to reason 10, but I hope it is more than just audio, hoop there also midi, key, and tempo in the file. If not this would be great. Decently when using the app I see no way to undo stuff. This is a bit difficult. If not to say the least also there is not jet a way to save as when editing a preset or old save. Hope you take these points and try to update this in a later patch, definitely has the potential to become my newest favorite music app, kind regards

How much I love their flag ship Reason... I feel absolutely no sympathy for this product. Everything is built around luring you into buying more and more stuff.
