ReciMe Reviews

The app I’ve been looking for

Doucherino on

United States

This is the app I’ve been dreaming of! Back in the food blog days, I used to print recipes and put them in binders. As recipe reactors moved to Instagram, I developed a way of saving recipes but it was clunky and annoying. THIS app has made the process SO much easier! It’s faster, it’s easy to use, and it’s full sized on my iPad so I can easily see the recipe as I’m cooking. I never write app reviews but this one is a true game changer!

Solution to a problem

Helps organize my saved online recipes that are saved across multiple apps.

Doesn’t work

Word413 on

I was excited to try this app but it doesn’t work. I follow the directions. I get confirmation my recipe is saved to my cookbook, but nothing is ever there.

So good, I’m writing my first app review!

I have recipes saved everywhere! Pinterest, my notes app, IG, hand written, etc. Because of this, I can’t find them and they’re very disorganized. This app solves this and I’ve added over 100 recipes in two days. I used it to make dinner and the UX/UI is fantastic. I also love that I can very easily meal plan with it. I realize that it’s pricy but this app will save me so much time, energy and frustration, it’s worth it to me. 12/10 this app isn’t even in a folder, it’s on my main screen.

Decent App, Payment Issues

I am really liking the app, but they charged me twice. Once for the initial purchase and again foran additional subscription when I was offered a lower price for an upgrade.

Limited

Can only import 5 recipes before being forced to pay subscription. Don’t bother

Love!

I don’t pay for apps. I just don’t but I have not for one minute regretted paying for this. Worth every cent

Imports EVERY format imaginable

Neolite on

United States

ReciME imports from websites, social media posts, pdfs…quickly and accurately. A true single source to manage all of my recipes. I recently reached out and asked them for a way to export recipes. Not only did they develop an export function-they actually emailed me to tell me that it was rolled out! The pricing is a bit expensive (in my opinion), but the ease of use was worth the initial investment. I hope they lower their pricing to justify a longtime use model.

Sorting

ParisHolt on

Can you add the ability to sort recipes by name and also search for words in the title. This would make this app perfect and worth every penny. Right now if I add 100 plus recipes I would never be able to easily find the one I want.

Great idea but over priced

JTinNLV on

Was excited to try this out, especially since they advertise a “free version”. About five minutes in, the free version was locked out (6 recipes) and a $50 membership was required. Deleted the app instead.
