Why doesn’t this app allow you to download the book? And why does this app have such a tedious zoom feature?
The price we pay for books is not worth it when you realize all the restrictions. I purchased a book that I can’t access offline, it’s not even a rental, I own it. So I can read my book when I don’t have an internet connection. Highlighting is also terrible on this app. You can’t actually highlight what you want, it will just highlight what it thinks you want. I have wasted so much time trying to highlight. There is also no way to extract annotations. This app is not great for students.
This app does not have good calibration for iPad and apple pencil users. The function highlight on insists on highlighting the entire page rather than the section that you have selected. Please fix calibration issues, it is quite frustrating!
endless showing it is loading, frustrated
Still loading after I download the text, can’t read at all
Text to speech rarely works, I’ve done every version of trouble shooting they’ve suggested and yet it only functions on desktop. I have even tried requesting to use the desktop site on mobile; this worked for about 30 seconds before it stopped again. If you can, avoid using this platform.
It really needs to download an 800 page law book for 2 hours (on good internet) before I can even begin to read??
Expected to be able to listen to my textbooks with the text to sound feature but it is absolutely horrible!! Only one voice option works and not only does she sound like a toneless robot in a blender but it doesn’t even read my paragraphs in the correct order. So much potential for this feature, I really hope it becomes more helpful soon.
App KEEPS crashing on me, how am I supposed to access my textbooks!!!??.
Don't expect to understand 90% of the "voices" that will read the audio aloud. Most are synthesized voices, and there's even a "cello" voice that sounds like the word is singing to you. Why is that an option? Why are more than 90% of the voices unrecognizable? Easy to use while reading but the audio is horrendous. Hopefully no one has any reading disabilities and need assistance because this app doesn't offer it
