More helpful for films than for shows

I use this app constantly but it needs improvements to the point I’m considering looking to alternative apps for the same functions. They recently made it easier (in theory) to find shows that are on your sources, but good luck if one of your sources is Prime video or another service that sometimes promotes with a free pilot episode only; I am constantly seeing the icon that makes it look like a series is on one of my subscriptions only for this to only apply to an episode or season I’ve already seen, because the pilot is where they pull the source from regardless of where you’ve marked your progress. The icons are generally annoyingly arbitrary, most likely boosted by promotional money, but if there were a way to indicate multiple sources at first glance that would be so much better. I hate the shift towards poster images being the only way to see a movie’s title (surely this creates accessibility problems?) as well as the ratings not appearing in the thumbnails. I hate that they took away the RT ratings too. The library is extensive, but occasionally I will go looking for something which isn’t in the database so I have to list it on my watchlist for letterboxd instead. This doesn’t happen too often though.

Never very accurate

Morbius on

After using this app for several months, I’ve learned it has the same shortcoming as another similar app I’ve tried, i.e. it’s just not accurate as to what is currently available on what streaming service. I’ve had multiple instances where the app tells me something on my watchlist is currently available on one of my subscribed services, when in fact it isn’t. Or worse, where it fails to indicate that something on my watchlist is actually available on one of my services, when it it. I’ve sent several feedbacks through the app about these instances when I notice them, but other than the initial automated response indication a case has been opened, never received any other followup about those cases, nor have I seen any reported instance corrected. If you can’t trust the info coming from an app like this, then it’s pretty useless…you will never know whether something you want to see is available or not without manually checking each of your services each time, which was what the app was supposed to do instead.

Confusing

Now something new - Landman, show on Paramount. 4 episodes available now, 5th will be available in couple of days. Your app shows 4 episodes available, nothing about episode 5, but shows episode 6 as unavailable in continue watching section. More and more confusing! The show “Cross” season 1 was just released on prime, your app shows that it’s available in continue watching section of your app, but it also shows season 2 episode 1 marked unavailable. Why? there is no season 2. As far as I know season 2 will be released next year. The show “the night manager” season 2 will be released next year, but your app shows it in continue watching section for already a few months, I reported it to your support team, but nothing has been done to fix that. Very frustrating and disappointing.

Good app. Horrible support.

When the app works it’s great but the fact that you cannot get a single response from the support team is absolutely ridiculous

Good but wish it were better

I like the app - it’s my go-to for tracking shows and movies. I just wish that it could do three things: (1) correctly mark shows as watched when I mark them so (that used to work but hasn’t in many months), (2) enable filtering by language, and (3) enable filtering out shows that are marked watched in the list of all tracked shows/movies.

Seems cool

This seems cool, but I’m gonna need a Roku app before I use it. Not that interested in the “workaround” of using the phone.

Loved it, but now it doesn’t work

With the latest update the filters no longer work. When I click the “app support” button, that also doesn’t work.

They got rid of IMDB ratings

This app basically became totally pointless without IMDB ratings.

ReelGood is very helpful, and I would like to log back in. However, the “forgot password” feature hasn’t worked for weeks. Trouble tickets I’ve created haven’t been resolved.

Suggestion to make even better

Yorkewilliams on

Love Reelgood to keep up w/ shows on all these different streaming platforms. A suggestion for improvement is under series info to add the total number of episodes the show has Thanks
