renshuu - Japanese learning

I found one recommendation for renshuu randomly on reddit and I think this is pure luck. Im about to finish learning kana and I couldn’t wish for better experience. No ads, helpful navigation hints, flexibility of learning intensity, and many many more useful features.. you can even learn to write there. Big shoutout to the team, there are simply no cons

Really really good, especially for beginners

In tbe beginning quite confusing how to navigate it, but I must say I enjoy it very much and would call it the BEST japanese language app I have encountered.

I really enjoy using this app, I learned katakana with it in just three weeks. I dont know about the kanji part as I use anki for that, but if its as good as the kana, theres nothing that could be said is insufficient. just overall a great experience

Its more fun than DL, more i would say personalised, u can directly ask about anything from the creators. There is plenty of games to play (to practice japanese). I just love it

My husband recommended this app to me and I had to try if it can support me as a not-so-beginner-level learner and holy smokes, I am in awe! This app can do so much and lets me customize everything! It supports studying with several textbooks and has schedules on its own. I can choose how and on what should I be tested to best suit my needs. I can also play games that are not only aimed on beginners, which I totally love! I really enjoy both shiritori variants and kana crosswords. I usually dislike gamifications but in this app even the kao garden and kao coins are just cute and not pushy. And even if you dislike it, you can disable it no problem! I was also pleasantly suprised on the many sentence examples in vocabulary and different style of explanations of some grammar. The best for me is the ability to adjust furigana and style of testing (onyomi, kunyomi, number of strokes, meaning, you can mix and match) and OMG, the pictures are so cute! My husband actually lured me in on the cute cat drawings but I had to stop screenshoting them because they are all so cute! I also love the tamago manga, but don’t feel pushed to study more than I can handle, it’s all so gentle. I have already recommended the app to all my friends studying. I love the renshuu website. It is amazing. The design of the IOS application is a bit wonky at times, but overall great experience.

Even thought i have this app just for 2 days, I learned a lot of kanjis and words!

Everything is very well made and thougt out. This app is made with love for sure. It has s lot of content and works well enough even in free version. And it is soooo cute :)
