renshuu - Japanese learning

I never thought I would ever write a review but here I am. Renshuu is the best App even if you don’t know anything about Japanese like I did…it’s really impressive what two people alone can reach! Here you can learn hiragana,katakana,kanji and rise your vocabulary all in one and it isn’t boring like so many other language apps. You literally learn while you play one of the mini games or buy stuff for your digital garden for everything you already learned,but the best thing is that it’s a FREE app (for a young student who couldn’t afford more bills…) you are definitely the hero’s of Japanese learners.Never give up! Im in the beginning of Japanese learning and had to learn hiragana and katakana first and with this app it was very easy it makes fun too

To be honest, going into this I didn’t really expect much because I have been disappointed more than once when downloading new apps for language learning. But renshuu exceeded my expectations. There is so much thought put into this app and you can tell. Many many features and all of the most important ones for free. Interaction with the community? Renshuu has it. Fun quests and games? Renshuu has it. Useful resources and non robotic native sounding voices when listening to certain sentence examples? Renshuu has it. Renshuu even has stats to keep track on ur progress and Kao-chan, who grows along with ur Japanese progress. It’s currently by far my favorite Japanese learning & exercising (renshuu ;)) app out there. I most likely will upgrade to renshuu pro in the future also. 本当にありがとうございます！<3

i learned japanese basics on duolingo a while back and came here cause i need to refresh basically everything and didn't like the duolingo format anymore. i'm having a much better time on renshuu! i really appreciate how unintrusive it is. just nice, uninterrupted learning and very cute art! as the app description says, it offers a lot that you can mix and match according to your needs. currently using the free version and don't miss anything (i will get pro cause i want to support them though).

I’ve tried so many apps before to enhance my learning experience and I’ve deleted most of them. renshuu will definitely stay on my phone permanently though. It’s fun but also packed with information! I especially enjoy the example sentences that come with each new word I learn.

It’s a bit clunky at first but when u get into it it’s really good, they got some community minigames which are super fun to do and helps you using more words even if you only heard them like in an anime or song but you get an explanation for them さごい🤗👍

Best way to start learning Japanese. Good instructions everything is clear how it works. Fun little gimmics to keep you on the grind!

Wonderful design and it feels like home with all the charming details too. Lots of customization and games plus great user base. I really feel motivated by it and just got the pro upgrade.
