This app helped me improve my japanese really quickly! It’s easy to use and is really great. It’s also free with no ads and way better than alternatives like duolingo etc!!!!

The app lets you really read Japanese sentences in its original form. It has a learning center to guide you through the structures of the language. In contrast to other generic learning apps (the big green owl), Renshuu is specialized into teaching you Japanese. Step by step, the scary, overwhelming Japanese language will be made clear. Of course. The best learning app, is the one you use. Renshuu makes you eager to use it. Plus, the two developers behind it, seem really sympathetic. 5 stars from me

This really supercharged my Japanese learning unlike anything I tried before. I even bought the lifetime subscription though I don’t really need the pro version because the free one offers so much already. I just really wanted to support the creators, it hard to believe this was made by only 2 people!

this app is easy to understand and has many fun games and intuitive tools! i was so surprised when i saw the community tab, where you can talk to others and answer daily questions, something which i haven’t seen anywhere else. it’s genuinely the best app i’ve used to learn japanese and the only one i bothered to pay for! give it a try and support the small creators responsible for creating something so lovely! ^_^

Some time now have been looking for a playful app to learn Japanese. What I found before renshuu was memorycard learning apps, kanji apps and kana apps but not one app with it all. Until I was introduced to renshuu by a friend. It has it all: grammar, kanji, vocabulaire next to several games (think of shiritori and crosswords). Highly recommend it!

I like how helpful it is as a study aid, how cute the setup is, how helpful the messages are, and how there's a nice little community interaction section too

I had been using duolingo to try and supplement my lack of Japanese practice and had been really stricken by how little they go into actually teaching you the language, and since I have some friends who want to learn Japanese at a basic level, I wished I had a better tool than “go to my college” to recommend them. Having heard of this app from a couple of more experienced learners I decided to give it a try, and I was surprised by how well made and digestible it was. From the mastery schedules to the lessons themselves it has been a very convenient way of getting in daily practice.
