Very user unfriendly app. I prefer open table.
I couldn’t get Resy to work at all until I turned off my VPN. My several tries before that were unsuccessful. I had problems the other day too. Couldn’t get there from the restaurant website. Seemed not to know me even though I have registered and have password, etc. I found Open Table to be problematic too. I do have privacy tools and settings that shouldn’t matter unless they are gathering info from me I may not be aware of….
Resy is easy to make a res and a roll to discover places to eat. I really like the collections feature.
App is difficult to use
Great ambience, outstanding service, incredibly flavorful. Suadero tacos, the salad and even the Burger was outstanding. Worth the visit, will be back for sure.
I have an Amex that costs me hundreds per year and “Priority Notify” doesn’t work in helping me get into in-demand restaurants. Just use TableOne.
I love Resy because it's easy and straightforward as opposed to Open Table that every time I sign in w open table I get an error message or they tell me my password is wrong and Resy is so easy I've never had a problem ever. LOVE!!
This app was broken at least half the I tried to use it. Reservation has been broken before, but simply not allowing me to log in is also typical. I often ended up calling restaurants instead, who were even more used to Resy not working than me.
Originally made a reservation for 10 people then added 3 more people by calling the restaurant which updated on the Resy app. 10/13 of my party were able to RSVP with no problem while the rest could not. I tried almost every possible solution with no success. I decided to contact customer service and they were not helpful AT ALL. All they told me were the instructions to share my reservation with my party. Like, I was not born yesterday.. I told them my exact problem and all they were still dense about the entire issue. I don’t know if their customer service is always like this or I just got unlucky with some incompetent ones.
I like this app a lot. However, I was trying to make reservations for my 2 couple friends when they come to visit. They each wanted a different restaurant. RESY automatically canceled the first reservation when I tried to book the second one. There needs to be a way to do this - like enter their email or something. I ended up calling the restaurant
