For UK Only
I have no doubt that this service is excellent for people who live in the UK and have UK phone numbers. If you’re a tourist or a student living abroad however (like myself) then this service is useless. It is the most predatory creation I have ever had the displeasure of using. It will not accept any number but a UK number. If you don’t have a UK number, then you’re out of luck and will be forced to pay a £100 fine or risk getting towed. The only reason I was able to make this heinous invention work is because my girlfriend is British and let me use her number. If you’re a foreigner and are at a RingGo parking lot, go somwhere else. They will not have you, and given their practices it seems they don’t want you either. You’d be better served just driving your car to the pound yourself and sparing the extra towing fine.
Absolutely useless
Won’t accept a foreign phone number and the I’ve system when you call doesn’t work.
Can’t register with a US mobile phone number
No confirmation code gets sent if you use a US number for registration, no matter how you enter the number.
Totally useless
Did not work with a US or a UK number. Helpline useless. Edinburgh needs to find a better solution to pay for parking.
Over priced
40p to use an App vs using a card ticket machine is car park robbery 🤣🤣
Worthless
It will not accept any form of CC payment. This is probably one of the most worthless apps I’ve ever downloaded.
Terrible
App is poorly developed. It is supposed to serve London area that is teaming with visitors from all over the world. I does not allow you to register if you have a foreign cellphone number. I spent 1 hour trying to set it up and could never do it. Their help button sends tou to an automated phone number; no help at all.
Good luck with your US mobile
Like others, I cannot get the SMS verification code on my US mobile. The machine did not take credit cards. I tried +1 and 001, no dice. I sent an email to the support and provided the requested details. No response as of now. Not sure why the don’t allow verification by email since their phone system can’t confirm with foreign numbers used by tourists trying to park with this exasperating app.
