RingGo: Mobile Car Parking App

You need to fix this. We were in a car park in a tourist area that only accepted this app and coins, not credit card or notes. Its unacceptable that foreigners can’t use your app in a country that wants tourists. I see the advice to another reviewer was to register using live chat. I did this and the response was to include the country code which I did but it still didn’t work.

Can’t text a non-UK number a verification code, which makes it useless for tourists.

Completely useless for anyone visiting the UK as it only accepts UK mobile numbers to register. I mean, how difficult is it to accept international numbers in the 21st century?

RingGo is used in many tourist areas in UK. We were stuck at a kiosk that would not accept credit cards or bills. Wasted data downloading an app, registering. Only to not receive the confirmation texts. Which they limit to 2 per day. Tried email and nothing came there either. App will not work with international cell numbers. If I get a parking ticket I won’t be impressed.

Really frustrating experience with this app. Can’t handle nonUK mobile numbers. Useless.

Waste of time as you can’t enter a non UK number for an account and the voice recognition system is the worst even speaking perfect English. Save your effort or bring coins to park.

Tried to park today by phoning the number. Referred by robot to app. Downloaded app. Tried to register. Informed will be sent text. No text received. Requested another. None received. Requested a third. Told have exceeded daily text allowance. Couldn’t register. Had to leave car park and find another that didn’t require Ringo. Now deleted app.

Just flat out refuses to accept my number plate.

Search for your location, and often (particularly in London), chances are it doesn’t have it! Read the parking machine miles away down the road in the rain and presto, it has it after all…. Surely a simple thing to fix, but they can’t be bothered

I can no longer use this app. It stopped recognising my password so I reset it through the website ( as the app password reset does not work) Now I can access my account on the website but when I put the same login details in the app the login button stays greyed out so I cannot log in.
