Best food app

Best food app in Toronto. Fairest prices and quick and painless pickups. No awkward interactions being asked for a tip by debit machines at checkout. And the rewards (for restaurants that support it) are actually decent! Definitely creates loyalty to the few restaurants I'm collecting stamps for

Discount didn’t work

Was supposed to get a $10 credit with my first order but didn’t show up when I downloaded the app.

Worst app ever.

Ordered food for 11 people and Ritual messed up the whole delivery. Will never use them again.

Fake discount/price gouging BEWARE !!!!

Disappointed to see price gouging on the app. Prices are increased on the app to offer fake discounts. Will be deleting my account because this is not okay to lie!!

Do not order wit AI

My card was charged, the app says the order was completed. The store has no record of my order. Can’t wait to spend extra time disputing this.

Very slow

The app is quite useful but is extremely slow and drains my battery any time I use it.

Used to be good before fees and hidden cost

Before the pandemic I would use this app daily. After things reopened they changed the app to charge a fee for each order and the prices in the app were no longer guaranteed to be the same as restaurant prices. I’m okay lining up for 10 minutes to save money on my order.

Paying for service you rarely get

Once-upon-a-time very useful. For the past ~year it’s become rarer and rarer for the restaurants to even start making your order before you get there to pick it up, and Ritual seems uninterested in addressing the problem. So you’re paying a fee for a convenience you’re usually not actually getting vs just going in and ordering.

Sneaky fee added to customer orders

They’ve added a convenience fee to orders now. With other ordering options in the market, Ritual is now a pass.
