Nice infinity
Great app, setting the height and width was bit difficult could be made easier
Unfortunately this app doesn't have antenna set up for c-band dish, 1.8m,2.4m etc etc. so I'm unable to use.
Great App. Works well in various locations in Victoria, can't wait to try it out in NT & Qld. Have experienced trouble previously in WA where satellite is very low in sky, with result that trees would often block signal. My signal meter would indicate strong signal but no picture or sound resulted. This App should fix this problem for me as obstacles are clearly viewed on-screen enabling alternate dish location to be tried. Very easy to use once correct dish height is entered, problem of dish interfering with compass when resting on dish to adjust elevation can be overcome by briefly removing iPhone, waiving in fig 8, then re-attempting adjustment. Well worth price.
I found this application extremely difficult to use and really no help at all. There is another product, Satellite Finder, which is a lot easier to use, reliable and accurate as long as you have an internet connection.
Cool ... It work thx but it didn't tell us how to set the lnb
I love it. Because it works.
This app does pretty much what you should expect, regular updates to fix the issues have made all the difference. This app is useful unlike dish pointer. All this app needs now is the LNB skew then the doco that comes with the portable sat dish would be obsolete. Another nice feature would be the ability to set you own "zero" for elevation so that you could rest the iPhone/iPad on the dish and set it more accurately. For me the best thing would be for it to be an iPad app. Another nice fix would be for the sound to disable when I put the device to sleep without exiting the app when in positioning mode. All in all it delivers and combined with the signal finder setting up the dish takes less than 1 minute. I've used this app from Brisbane through NT down to SA into WA and have found it to be great to find the location to sit the dish to avoid trees and where to point the dish to get an almost perfect position prior to using the signal finder to fine tune the rest. Worth the cost.
Fantastic concept, but pity it crashes and doesn't work. And I cannot get a refund. Very unhappy. (Crashes with exception in -[UIImagePickerController setMediaTypes:]+604). How on earth (pun) did Apple approve this app when it crashes with an exception after hitting the Start button on the View tab?
