scanoma - mole check

I am very pleasantly surprised at how professional, quick and easy it was.

I found the app very easy to use, and the functions of it are quite broad. I submitted an image to the scanoma doctor and received a thorough response in a very short period of time with recommended steps. Very much appreciated. This has been very helpful.

I cannot say how much I appreciate that this app exists! It is an easy to use app, that provides free and fast analysis of worrisome moles using an mole assessment algorithm. Then, if you wish for further assessment beyond this, for a small (and extremely reasonable fee), you can submit your mole photo for a Dermatologist to assess. It took less then 24 hrs to get a qualified medical opinion with a helpful opinion and advice. MUCH faster then waiting to see a Dermatologist and much more affordable too! Highly recommend

I like that I’m able to check moles on the go, since taking an appointment with a dermatologist takes forever.

Birthmarks that are totally safe marked as 68% concerning, yet mole that was concerned about marked as inconclusive, in all cases the app asks to contact a doctor through the app for an opinion, terrible.

I love this app. I’ve checked several moles via the computer comparison and I’ve paid to have three checked by a scanoma doctor. The advice always seems accurate and it’s reassuring to have skin moles and lesions checked especially during the pandemic when visiting a doctor in person might be difficult and risky.

Camera built in to these apps usually do a pretty dismal job of allowing you to focus. making it near impossible for me to get good pictures. especially without flash.

Does not focus making it difficult to get any useful images.

I use this to get any moles checked out and love option to get dermatologist evaluation while waiting for appts which could be long wait, give me a peace of mind. Their customer service is also wonderful

It’s a good app to get lots if information about my health issues and questions but I can’t understand the process and how it works. It’s difficult to get how it comes to the conclusion about the risk
