Worse app that my company decided to implement.
We’ve been using this software for 5 years now. It is the worst decision my company has made in my 24 years here. Data buried deep in the system is impossible to find. The version on the phone does not behave like the version on laptop. There is also the “web” version mess. Countless clicks here and there to close calls and report events. What used to take seconds with onemobile, now can take days to hear back from wherever the information goes to. Our service job in the field can change in minutes, its dynamic. Nothing about servicemax is dynamic. Disgraceful and a disaster.
This is clearly an invoicing system that has had some bare bones inventory and service tracking stapled on. The language used and user interface differs enough between the app/browser they are practically different products. The lack of a viable sync or auto sync functionality is what kills me. It should not be this painful to use.
The worst app ever !!!!!!!!! If I could give it a negative star I would
My employer has had a variety of case management systems over the years. We were told this is the “industry standard”. This “industry standard” has nearly brought our field teams nothing but heartache and pain. This has been a “I think I’m about to quit my job!” kind of experience. It’s not intuitive or efficient in any way. One might even say the makers of this app took a challenge accepted approach to how cumbersome can we make this. We see change over they years and there is typical “growing pains” when starting something new. This is not that, we’re a year into it and it is still by far the worst experience ever. That is all I can say, there is no positive feedback to provide.
Unresponsive and unintuitive UI. Most of the time spent on the app waiting for it to sync with the occasional configuration update before I can do anything. Time sensitive notifications are often unreliable.
Worst thing to happen to service writers, someone must be getting kickbacks because that is the only reason someone would use this platform.
Spend most of my time deleting my text because the app is mixing up or deleting letters. I thought it was me to begin with but then I watched it delete letters right in front of me. I typed “to” and it deleted the o. So I deleted the t and typed to again and it did it again. Total trash.
If you enjoy constant syncing, bugs, and wasting time making 5x more clicks then necessary, then this app is for you!
