Ich war erst skeptisch, dann begeistert. Klar, sehr viele nutzen diesen Guide. Aber wenn man ein bisschen antizyklisch fährt und am besten in Hana übernachtet, leistet der Guide gute Dienste. Schön finde ich die Hinweise darauf, wie man sich als Tourist respektvoll verhält.
Wir haben zunächst den Shaka Guide für die reversed road to Hana gekauft und waren total begeistert. Es werden viele tolle Stellen beim Fahren rechtzeitig angekündigt, die wir sonst mir unserem normalen Reiseführer nicht gefunden hätten. Außerdem muss nicht einer im Buch lesen während der andere fährt, sondern man kann es sich ganz entspannt anhören. Wir haben dann auch für die nächste Insel Big Island den Shaka Guide noch gekauft. Einfach super. Allerdings gibt es ihn ausschließlich auf englisch.
Wir sind auf Maui, Big Island, Kauai und Oahu verschiedene Touren mit dem Shaka-Guide gefahren, und haben dabei viel über Land und Leute gelernt.
An excellent app as a tour guide, providing lots of knowledgeable information, jokes, and a valuable companion!
My wife and I love no app more than Shaka Guide. We’ve used it for Hawaii twice and both times it really removed the stress of planning the perfect trip (since it guides you) and removes FOMO feelings (since the tours are wonderful). Couldn’t be happier
Super Guide App für Hawaii - macht die Ausflüge zu etwas ganz besonderem und die Infos die man bekommt sind sehr interessant. Jeden Cent wert!!
Road to Hana: very nice Guide. We were sceptical in the beginning but the digital guide has a lot of POIs and the speaker follows you from the early morning to the Last Miles in the dark. We wouldve missed many spots without This App - we didnt spent any Time in preparation. Luckily the App Came as a recommendation by friends. The GPS Tracking works perfectly on Spot „coming up at your right you will find ….“
Wir haben uns für die Classic Road nach Hana entschieden. Der Guide hatte viele wertvolle Tipps und Informationen auf der Tour, die uns ohne diese App gefehlt hätten. Es war ein wunderschöner Tag und die Shaka App hat diesen zu etwas besonderen gemacht. Der Guide hat uns von Anfang bis zum Ende begleitet, es war immer spannend zuzuhören. Ohne diese App wäre die Tour nur halb so schön gewesen. Für alle zu empfehlen, die sich das viele Geld mit einer geführten Tour sparen möchten und selbst nach Hana „fahren“ möchten. Vielen Dank für diesen tollen Tag!
Sehr gute App und perfekter Tour Guide für entspanntes Reisen auf Hawaii Great Tour Guide and easy to use App! We went to Oahu and Hawaii Big Island and loved to be guided by Shaka. There are so many things we had missed without this guide. And the voice of shake is great and makes me happy
