A blank screen when starting! i tried even reinstalling it. Does not work at all! Too bad because the relays are working fine. Only the app is the worse app ever.

If you select a different language (i.e. Romanian in my case, although I know English) it will fail when adding devices with “unsupported language” Issues when trying to add devices even after I reinstalled the app and chose English If you don’t add a room before adding devices, you’re screwed. You cannot rename rooms if you want a different name. You cannot add images (at least from iPhone 12) because they are too big .. well resize them! It’s not difficult.. After you add a device to a room you cannot move it to another room. Hopefully it’s just an UX issue and not a coding one. But the device works after you add it. I moved from Sonoff to Shelly after some reviews but honestly that app is far more stable and intuitive :/ so I might return the shelly devices and stick with sonoff although I liked the idea that a neighbour company is making cool smart devices.. Adding a device is hard as hell using the app: the device is found, it says it’s updated with the WiFi info but then it doesn’t work and it says it’s offline .. aaaarghhhh Sooo: Read their FAQ and connect directly to the device on 192.168.33.1 (after connected to the ssid created by the device)

After the last update I don't have anymore relay widget so it's hard to open a door without opening the app an waiting for all related to update and search between them. Please don't kill useful functionalities.

Leider muss ich zu diesem harten Urteil kommen nach vielen Monaten Einsatz mehrerer Shellys mit der Cloud. Ständig geht etwas schief weil die Geräte zum Beispiel plötzlich nicht mehr erreichbar (offline) sind. Eines sendet keine SSID aus, eines lässt sich partout nicht einbinden, eines meldet, es sei schon woanders installiert worden und lässt sich auch nach Hardware reset nicht mehr in die Cloud-App einbinden. Das ist überhaupt nicht tragbar und der Hersteller bekommt es nicht in den Griff. In meiner eigenen App werden die Geräteverbräuche in der Übersicht nicht aufaddiert. Und obwohl Zehntausende Shellys für Balkonkraftwerke eingesetzt werden kann man die Anzeige nicht von „Verbrauch“ auf „Erzeugung“ umstellen. Warum nicht?

Beim IPAD gibt es nur noch Sensor-Widgets! Keine Relais-Widgets mehr. Zustände der Relais/Geräte werden auch nicht immer korrekt angezeigt.

Eigentlich macht die App was sie soll und ich bin sehr zufrieden. ABER ! Wenn man neue Geräte einbindet und ein User/Passwort festlegt wird man in der App jedes mal danach gefragt was super nervig ist. Der Fehler ist auch schon ziemlich alt und betrifft viele User er wird aber scheinbar nicht behoben.

Die App sollte auch im Offline-Modus funktionieren, wenn der Router keine Verbindung zum Internet hat. Es kommt aber immer zu einem Fehler, man muss erstmal die App mit mobilnetz starten damit Man später die Geräte lokal steuert mit wlan ohne Zugänge zum Internet. Sonst finde ich die App gut, dafür gebe ich aber 2 Sternchen 😏
