Can’t use my iPad more after instarling this app..
I really like this app, bacause it makes it very easy to change this in your shotlist, without having to use the traditional red marker. It syncs with all the crew, and changes, change the whole projects simontaniously.
Now, this might not be the most complicated app for shot listing ever, but I think it has just enough. It’s simple and easy to understand. It’s also SO good for helping me organize my thoughts. 10/5 would recommend.
Painful to use.
It has been great for prep. Love how easy it is to organize. Also, love that they are open to making improvements and listening to their customers
Been using the app for years as I have a film production company and we create films nearly monthly. We tell everyone about the app. *sponsor us 😅* Now with the update, super excited and the app support has been so responsive! Look forward to more years with Shotlister.
As a freelance commercial director/editor, I work on a range of projects and budgets. Sometimes, I have the budget to bring on a full team and sometimes I have to wear multiple hats. On my current project, I have to do everything so I tried shot lister vs sitting down with a production manager/AD to build out shots and I loved it. Easy to use but really helped my finetune my shots and build out a realistic schedule. I will use it no matter the budget.
and have been continuously subscribed. The app automatically updated and despite the fact that I've never cancelled my subscription, it keeps popping up a dialog box that tells me that I have to subscribe in order to create more than two projects. I am subscribed. The new app doesn't seem to function any better than the old despite the new interface and it certainly doesn't have any compelling new features - it just lists three new features that are "coming soon." I'm not happy about the apparent money grab here and will be using my own custom built app that costs way less than nearly $200/year. Seriously, Capture One costs less than that and does way more than this app.
I am trying out the new version of Shot Lister, but did want to place a review here as I used to use it a lot for organizing my marketing lifestyle shoots. I will update it after trying the new version out more. You guys deserve some reviews! I would love to see a simplified Photographer Version or "mode" -- as I don't do video/film and figuring out the lingo of film is sometimes a bit confusing. :) But this was the best storybaording for shooting app I could and have found (in an affordable range too).
