All permissions are optional and require consent (you can continue using Skype without granting these permissions, but certain features may not be available).
• Contacts - Skype can sync and upload your device contacts to Microsoft's servers so that you can easily find and connect with your contacts that already use Skype.
• Microphone - The microphone is needed for people to hear you during audio or video calls or for you to record audio messages.
• Camera - The camera is needed for people to see you during video calls, or for you to be able to take photos or videos whilst you’re using Skype.
• Location - You can share your location with other users or use your location to help find relevant places near you.
• Photo Library - Storage is needed to be able to store photos or to share your photos with others you may chat with.
• Notifications - Notifications allow users to know when messages or calls are received even when Skype is not actively being used.

Sensational performance
I don’t get messages and calls notifications
With this new update, I don’t get push notifications for messages and calls so far until I go to the application. Please fix it. It is annoying.

There’s something missing, it lacks some usability features that are probably hard to formulate but they are definitely not there. The ui is stuck in the 2010s somehow. Though all the sound specific stuff is fine, the sound quality, though almost invisible - noise and echo cancellation implemention is great

The whiteboard tool does not exist after the new update, and we cannot take bright pictures from textbooks and copybooks to send them to our Skype group. The new filters are not for classwork. Moreover, after 5 minutes of joining the class online, it updates and the call is off, and we have to call again. Skype has become very inconvenient, so hundreds of students are looking for another app.

Bugs need to be fixed
Have to forward files to other applications in order to open them (pdf, xlsx, …). Please fix that!
