Your account will be charged for Skype subscription renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period. Your subscription will be renewed automatically unless auto-renewal has been turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period of subscription.
You can manage your subscription by going to your Apple ID account settings and choosing the auto-renewal option or turning it off any time after your purchase.

Drops me off the call every five minutes
I paid for a years subscription so that I could dial-in to a 2-hour meeting every morning, and Skype bumps me off the call after every five minutes. Can I give zero stars??

Only app you need
Best app, I’m using Skype more than 20 years and it is always reliable. Calls are good quality, connections usually very strong, I have no issues when I’m talking to my parents overseas.
Cant text in video call have to leave to chat screen the BLOWS
Go find another app anything better then SKYPE
Can’t call landlines without monthly subscription
We liked skype because it allowed us to buy credits to call landlines with affordable rates but on December 4th 2024 the option to buy credits disappeared silently and they try to push users to a monthly subscription now.

Love Skype
I’ve used Skype for several years now and it’s only gotten better. You can edit your work, erase unwanted notes. It so so so much better than the icky evil messenger, which has no editing capacity and no ability to erase erroneous or unwanted messages. Skype is the best for messaging. On the other hand it is dreadful for audio calls. Unreliable and my system is stuck on some kind of automatic translation which can’t be shot off no matter what I do— and of course there is no longer ANY CUSTOMER SERVICE of any sort, live or by text or email or SKYPE. Because of this I would NEVER recommend it for anything but messaging.
