Anyone can use the Skype for Business for iOS app when invited to a Skype for Business or Lync 2013 meeting. However, you must have a Skype for Business or Lync account in order to use (and enjoy) the full capability of the Skype for Business app. Also, some functionality might require an update to Lync or Skype for Business Server or might not be available to all users. If you’re not sure about your account status, please contact your IT department.

Disappearing messages

Messages appear as notifications but aren’t there when I go into the conversation.

Quality

The original and best. Always seems to work without issue

Unable to find past conversions

App is not saving and showing any past conversion which makes difficult if you want to check precious discussion or found out any information from past conversions

Messages being lost

Why does this app not save messages when they are sent to me? Often when I am sent an IM it disappears. Why does this app not save the message like the desktop version does?

Nifty app

Skype for business mobile app allows me to take part in work meetings wherever I have a mobile signal - typically the sound is good - I’ve not tried sharing screens - best to leave that to the WiFi connected pc!!

Messages Disappear

Unless I catch & read messages in the preview pane of my phone they often disappear when I click into the app. The app will tell me I have a message with the number on the icon but when I try to load them they disappear. It’s extremely frustrating and I often have to message people back apologising that their message disappeared before I had a chance to read it. Why does it not store message history like the desktop version does.

This update has broken the sign in for our iOS users after updating from 6.22

Have been using Skype for Business on the phone for a few months and it works well. Nearly too well as sometimes people contact me out of hours as I forget to logout 😀
