I’ve been trying all morning to simply open the app to add more data - it won’t even get to the log in screen. I AM TRYING TO GIVE YOU MONEY, why make this difficult?

Absolutely rubbish app. We bought a SIM and were able to activate it and buy one plan, but when that plan ran out we couldn’t buy a new one or load any money onto it to buy more data! Kept saying “payment failed” even though we tried numerous times on two different phones - so there is obviously an issue with the app. Don’t waste your money and choose a different provider instead.

They offer promo load, so I purchased a few thousand peso load for a discount. But it expires only after 60 days, so I wouldn’t be able to use all of the load. I contacted customer support, and they didn’t offer a refund. Be careful, as they are scammers - don’t top up a lot, and if you do, read the fine print. Very deceptive and unethical business practice.

Very small fonts a few bugs noted

Sometimes very difficult to register a sim and I always get a bug when uploading files. Font sizes are so small that even me on 20/20 find it very difficult to read the options or instructions. They should enable better font sizes for mobile use. Sometimes it begs the question as to whether they really intent to isolate older people or intend to confuse people. Mobile phone designer could do better with a bit of training on improving accessibility, as it makes perfect commercial sense and it reduce operational coat for support.

First time logging in so I press “sign up”, it says that my phone number is already in use. So I try logging in normally using my phone number and it asks me to put in my password, I haven’t set a password obviously because it’s my first time logging in. Stupid app

Hello, can you please explain what is wrong with this app, all I get when trying to log in is the message “an error occurred please try later” or “ we are working hard to make Gigalife App available for this brand soon”. My phone is iPhone 12 on Smart and this app worked before with no problems. I have renewed the app numerous times to no avail. When it does work I’ll upgrade the stars to 5!!

Need 2 numbers to sign up??

I bought the sim and have downloaded the app and I’m now trying to make an account. It’s asking me for a secondary number to send OTP’s to? I have come from the UK and I don’t have a second Filipino number to do this with. Surely there’s a way to sign up without having 2 numbers???

It’s a great app when it works which usually is only 10% of the time. After having uninstalled it a few times then reinstalling it to fix the problem with all the login errors, it still doesn’t fix the issue. It all seemed to start after the latest update which is frustrating. It’s a shame I just hope I’m not the only one going through these issues. I am now having to desperately switch to another provider in order to see if their system works better. I am using an iPhone. Not sure if that’s something which is related to the problems.

Hope this one is better than the old one which I found a total disaster. I’ve recently come into the Philippines with a 5G router and headed to your Smart shop to buy a Smart bro rocket sim and technician loaded a 5G unlimited data subscription. I also have an Apple XR limited to 4G and had the technician load a 4G unlimited subscription. I downloaded GigaLife for both my Smart numbers and found that on the 5G router number was registered with the 4G subscription and my 4G phone had switched to the 5G subscription. Both numbers have different promotions and I can only find a 4G for my 5G router available to me.
