I thought this app would be my rescue from Airtable after their terrible attitude towards customers seen in recent changes to their business model. On paper, smart suite was an exciting alternative that offered more for less. But on mobile devices, my primary use case, it’s been too unreliable. I was willing to put up with forms jumping across the screen and losing my inputs right before I saved them, but now after being locked out and completely unable to access my documents, I’m convinced I simply cannot rely on the service. Today, I was logged out on all devices for some reason. Signing in with my Apple ID was simple enough on my phone, but even after restarting both the app and my iPad, I was told on every attempt that my credentials were incorrect - though, again, being identical to those I used successfully on another device.
Keeps crashing.
I don’t know why but since the last Apple update it keeps crashing. Won’t let me send support ticket unless I use Apple mail. 🤦♀️
Needs some iOS love
This app has so much potential. Just give us widgets and Siri Shortcuts!
Cannot even log into the app.
I download the app and then it goes straight to a screen that says No workspace is present. When I tap, login to another workspace it says there is a server error.
Seems Robust, but Buggy iPad App
Looking for a work-management solution like this. SmartSuite seems to have so many great features, but within 20 minutes on iPad…so many bugs: fields not saving, Solution settings not saving, SmartDoc editor not displaying when clicking into it, assigned to selections not saving. I will try again & update if anything changes, but these many bugs make this a dealbreaker.

Great except missing essential features
I would give this app five stars if it was possible to:
Use the iOS share-to menu to add content. I can easily share content and URL to Notion and Clickup and Airtable.
Have a fully private solution. Right now the administrator can see everything. I like keeping everything in one place.
OR AT LEAST BE ABLE TO:
Switch to my personal account in the app- have it possible to add more than one account
Game changer for me
This application is perfect for my agricultural research work.
I always have my work with me in the office or in the field. I have realtime data to discuss with a supplier. Building the solution to track my plants and follow them the next few years accurately and easily is a game changer. I have hours of time back and I can share data with anyone in a relatable way easily.
The mobile app is powerful and has more functionality than others I have tried. I can do nearly everything on mobile as the desktop for my workflows. I created a forms for volunteers to input data from their phones and smart documents to input journal notes, I have photos showing progress all in one space.
I didnt lose loads of time trying to learn the application as it’s pretty intuitive and there’s a robust template library to figure all the features Smart Suite has to offer as well as they are adding on new features all the time!

Real easy to use
Great app which is easy and intuitive to set up and doesn’t take long to learn
App is okay
Lacks the snappiness of an app like Monday.com. For example, in Monday if I want to change a status, date, or almost any cell in any column, I simply select the item I need to change and a custom modal appears. I change the status, the modal closes, and I’m done. The interaction is super quick.
In contrast, when I want to change a status in SmartSuite, I need to open the entire record, scroll to the status field, select the status, change it, and then finally save the record. If I presented this workflow to my guys in the field, who typically need brief and quick interactions with a management tool, I’d have a mutiny on my hands.
Also, and this one is purely subjective, the way SmartSuite displays tables, with the title remaining stationary while other fields scroll horizontally, creates a parallax effect that makes me cross eyed.
