Snap Markup - Annotation Tool

The only thing I would like is to be able to write a small paragraph not just short words on the photo. I use this app for start up and shutdown processes. Other wise love it and show other people the app.

This App has not been updated in 2 years. There have been changes in iOS versions and devices in two years. Soon this App will be obsolete unless it is updated.

I’ve been using this app for years. It’s so easy to use and has a very intuitive interface. My only complaint is it’s destructive editing, meaning there’s no way to undo or change prior markups. If the app added layers and markup editing it would be the perfect app!

It allows you to add circles but not modify them if they are in the wrong location. You can’t see the photos as you add them since it’s obscured by your thumb as you add them. You can’t modify the width of the circles. You can’t zoom in to add the circles in the correct location. Personally I wouldn’t recommend this app.

Vector ink is not smooth compared to other similar apps. Also, you can't pinch to zoom when drawing. I don't like the arrow shape and that one's finger is on top of the arrowhead.

Years after leaving my negative review below, I get a response … that has nothing to do with my review. Your app is mediocre at best Initial review: Markup tools seem to be pretty decent, however, when adding a text box, the text doesn’t wrap if you write more than the width of the picture ... even with the smallest font. It just keeps going past the picture and doesn’t make a new line. Probably a nice app for simple labeling, but not annotations more than 6 -8 words. If I’m missing something, please let me know. Otherwise I will request of refund.

I got this app because Apple made the photo markup tool worse with their latest update (update 17.2.1). Practically useless for what I was using it for with work. I’m in the trades and inspect construction all the time, and markup is essential to show what needs correction. So I hunted down this little app as it looked like old markup. Works pretty well, my main beef is that when you save the photo, it saves a copy, not the original. So that might be a deal breaker for me, but the app works well otherwise.

I bought this app just to use the focus tool and the magnification is weak and cannot be increased. Apple removed the magnification function on photo markup which I used a lot so I am trying to find a substitute but this one is not it. The Apple photo markup tool allowed you to control level of magnification. There is another app I tried a focus/magnification tool on that has adjustable magnification, but is more expensive - but may need to purchase anyway. Wish I could have tried this tool before buying it.

We are a clothing manufacturer.....taking a picture of a garment to highlight a particular feature is how we use the app to communicate with our factory... Awesome !! Better than spending $140 for an Apple Pencil..
