You can playback music including Hi-Res tracks on your smartphone.
Play the music contents from CD, USB, and Smartphone.
Access music by browsing or searching music folders stored on your computer or NAS drive thru network(DLNA)*.
You can set Multi-room, Surround, Stereo wirelessly with multiple speakers.*
Change the setting on the audio device, such as Equalizer, Sleep Timer, Network* and so on.
*Limited to compatible devices.

This application supports VoiceOver.

* Starting with version 7.4 of this app, it is only available on iOS 15.0 or later.

With the update to ver.5.2, Music Center will no longer be compatible with STR-DN850/STR-DN1050/ICF-CS20BT/XDR-DS21BT.

Terrible app - buy sonos

Thought I’d buy Sony for reputable sound quality but app is simply rubbish

Sony’s app

It works but could be better. The dashboard could be easily improved.

Only works about 20% of the time

Thought I was playing safe when I bought Sony - wrong! Soundbar, surround speakers and this app have been the most disappointing pieces of tech I’ve ever had.

I’m a happy man

Simple App to use

Had not used my Sony speaker SRS-X88 for a while and decided to download the Sony Music Centre app and update the speaker’s firmware. The update worked perfectly and the speaker is now back in use. Well worth using.

Inadequate and too basic

This app is totally inadequate. The music settings are utterly basic. The settings are also often lost and one has to set them again. Sadly this reflects the poor sound that the Sony BT speaker puts out…. Awful, utterly disgraceful for such a company and so-called big brand.

The audio is great ….. but

The audio is great, it is this program that is letting you down. I believe there is an update though that seems clunky too. Why do I have to go the web site for this… Sony makes great products. You are world leaders in entertainment. Oh and whe do I have to repeat the pairing process over and over and over… not great guys.
