I loved Spark 2…Spark 3 not so much
I told everyone how great Spark 2 was. Then I switched to 3 and I am much less satisfied. It’s way harder to find unread emails now and I’m constantly searching through various folders. Also, I can no longer compose more than one email at the same time because the compose window doesn’t pop out of the main window any more. I still get a lot of use out of the ability to chat about an email with other team members and assign emails to someone else, but I am disappointed that the functionality of the app lessened on this redesign.
Crucial
It is the premier email client across all platforms in the Apple ecosystem. Especially if you have personal and business life entangled with or by email and email accounts Spark is a must. Their AI integrations are magic… indispensable, especially using it to summarise newsletters and the like. My one suggestion is help existing and new users with the definitions of choices. Such as: Inbox, Group, Hide or Show All, etc. and chrono order vs today or whatever. It took me time to sort out what your nomenclature implied. Great work, truly. Thank you.

The app itself is amazing. Spark as always been the best app for email on iPhone. The new AI function is super nice too: BUT, that app eat data like crazy. Just like if it was not downloading email only when you open it has it should.
App constantly wouldn’t send emails untilI reopened it
I downloaded Spark to try to get access to all my email boxes (sent, spam etc.) which I can’t get in Apple Mail. I found constantly, after I sent an email and got out of Spark, they I’d get a notification saying the email didn’t send, and that I had to reopen Spark to send it automatically. I deleted Spark. Not worth the trouble
Great, but
One thing that stands out now is the inconsistency in UI across devices. Sometimes finding a key features such as replying to an email is very difficult. Main reason for me is that I use many different devices and the UI in inconsistent across all of them. The email responses are hurried under all the other emails in the thread. I figured out the filtering a bit, but find it hard to navigate still. I think this app could use some improvement for a better user experience. Maybe do more user research. I moved to spark to improve my ability to function and be efficient! I do love everything else especially automatically logging into my accounts across devices. What a breath of fresh air! The Ai option is just in the way, really. At least the current UI set up. Doesn’t seem to have the option to not use it u less you turn it off completely. Hire more UX designers to do Ux research to find out what customers want maybe?

I don’t usually write reviews, but wow this app blew me away. A few months ago I never even heard of it, but this is so good. Clean UI, great features, sorry apple mail you are retired.
Good but could improve
The app for the iPhone is one of the best, however the watch app is not that good, should work as the apple mail app opening the email in the watch fully. Rendering image and html. Annoying almost all the time to open the email through the iPhone app, if I am using the watch.
