This is honestly one of the best (free) apps on the market. I’m not kidding. I’ve tried numerous email and calendar clients and this one wins. It is free, looks good, offers FREE two way sync for multiple calendars, good email templates, and a few more additional features. The biggest cons for me are no multi day and monthly view on iOS and not being able to set free/busy. The desktop app is amazing. Gmail and Google Calendar is the standard but they look bad, bloated with features that aren’t intuitive to use/find. They also have a really difficult time integrating with Microsoft 365. Apple’s Mail and Calendar integrate well but there is no weekly view on iOS. I hate using Outlook.
When you send emails out, it always fall into Outbox without notifications.
It is good but cannot turn on the email notifications, while other clients can.
Asking for authentication too many times
My parents set time limit on my whatsapp, gmail and other apps, but I can use spark to message others.
Installed this by recommendations from the netizens. Initial impression: comparing to most other apps on the market, it’s a much more intelligent email client, nicer looking UI. However my experience with using the app has been fairly frustrating: 1. Incorrect spam classification - spams go into inbox, non-spams go into spam, etc. This does not happen with outlook for example. What’s even more infuriating is, every time I take something out of the spam folder, it continues putting back all future emails from that same sender. 2. Some of what I would consider as standard functionalities are not there/not very straightforward. E.g. exporting emails to pdf, dragging one email to another to add as an attachment. Today the mobile client wasn’t even able to fetch any emails despite my desktop client showing 24+ unread… Back to outlook it goes
From time to time, some email just disappeared and couldn’t find it except in the original email account. I’ve used spark for almost 3 years and I love it user friendly, but since few times disappear email, start to make me looking for another replacement
big oof. really hate the overhaul. the philosophy/ideology of trying to “reimagine” how i do my emails is soooooooo ew. please revert to the old version. how can i unupgrade?
The updated spark cannot sync with my outlook.com at all. All the messages I opened in the spark app would be marked new on the outlook.com website. Seriously considering dropping this app now.
