Email with some real thought behind their product…
I have been very impressed with the execution detail and design by the product people behind the Spike email application. Spike’s arrival delivers a design and execution that delivers real value for my many arms of communications. Until Spike, I’d failed to even find the ideal solution from a single messaging vendor, resulting in me trialing app after app, looking for a solution to help me wade through the GB of crap we get daily. With Spike, if not only found an elegant solution for Gmail or iCloud, but they have managed to integrate those disparate email sources, and then added integration with my messaging sources, all together, encapsulated in a conversation model that feels very natural. I’m looking forward to broadening my use of Spike, but even if there isn’t much more to discover, I’ve found a solution that I’m likely to consolidate all my future comma through…thank you Spike team!

Constant Spam
Zero stars if possible. I downloaded Spike to see if I would change from my current app, Spark. I found the app wasn’t for me and I uninstalled it. Since then I have been bombarded with emails regarding not using my account. I have unsubscribed every time I get one. I have emailed their support and asked to be removed. I’m still getting these spam emails. A really unprofessional response from these developers and an app I would strongly suggest you avoid. PLEASE STOP SPAMMING ME!!!!

Wow, 13 years on and this app uses ancient iPhone notification sounds. Byeeeee
Really good email client
I've tried a lot of email clients and this is definitely the best. The only thing I miss is to create a public a link for a thread. It's handy for sharing in Slack etc.
Modern application
I have just recently obtained this application for both mobile and desktop use. I like the simplicity of use and presentation. It challenges you to use it more like a modern text based interface. I like how you can group emails by sender or subject and how on a tablet or desktop you can clearly differentiate between your text or the recipients portion of the conversation. I suspect it will take me some time to maximize the benefits and to change my current writing style and content to continue gaining more efficiency to my corrispondemce
