I have been a user of this app since day 1 and it’s great. 9 comes along so I ‘upgraded’ but soon went back to this version 8 which is just perfect. Fast, accurate etc.
Used for years but no longer useable on IOS17
So slow now on iOS after latest software update. Almost unusable. After many years use, unless a fix is done I will be changing to another app
Been using this app since it’s Palm days. Used since on many different platforms without any issues. Lifetime license a real bonus.
Couldn’t live without it……BUT I use it on all my devices, pc, mac, phone, iPad on occasion web BUT It opens on my phone via face recognition BUT not on my PC with fingerprint or face Not on my Mac Not on my iPad with finger recognition Otherwise I would have given 5 stars Also am a user of nearly 10 years. Still a mainly….. happy user
I have used this app for years as well on Palm then Windows 6 now iPhone. It has continued to improve except the latest one locks every time you exit it - this should be configurable to 5 mins 10 mind etc. The synchronisation with in my case a PC laptop running XP and a desktop running WINDOWS 7 is perfect over WiFi. Update - no specific problems other than titles to sections change randomly and icons disappear!
There has been the odd glitch or two in that time but tech support has always been quick and concise with the answers. I've used on iOS windows and Mac. Currently only using iOS and Mac just because I don't have to use windows any more but so far they've always kept up with new releases of the OS's.
I have just updated in the hope that it would eventually solve a long-standing problem (raised with SplashID) of a repeated warning that I have not saved my new entry whilst I am still trying to enter data. This forces me to abandon the whole entry, shut the app & reboot my iPad to try to continue. Now, following the update, when I log in, all my entries are gobbledegook stopping me from accessing my data. On the bright side it is completely secure! This used to be a good app, why is it getting worse? Time to move on? Still only 1 star. One year on & no better. Still flashes up multiple rapid ‘Save’ warnings in the middle of data entering or editing. Am I alone in suffering this & why has it not been fixed? I now regret my lifetime subscription.
I like SplashID and have used it for years. But, as happened last year, my renewal payment was made just before Christmas (they even sent me the receipt) and a week later I’m still being locked out from accessing my data, with a notice when I use the app saying ny subscription has expired. They have had a year to sort the glitch out - presumably a lack of communication between their accounts section and the app subsriptions section - but haven’t bothered to fix this. Unless I get a guarantee and a refund for the week I have paid for when I have been unable to use the app, I’ll have to look for a more reliable app.
