Getting started
You’ll need some data to download the app for the first time, but data charges no longer apply when using the SA app itself. If you have a connection, you can do your banking!
Transactional features are available to Standard Bank accounts held in South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi, eSwatini and Namibia. Keep in mind that some types of payments include transaction fees.
Note that some features may not be available in your region.

Terribly slow
The app is terribly slow and annoying. It takes years to open, and there is a 4/5 chance of getting feedback of “sorry, retry”.
It appears the developer/bank isn’t doing anything to address this issue. This is by far the worst banking app I’ve ever used.

Please bring it back to how it was a year ago
The app now is horrible. Logging in takes forever and keeps bringing you back to the start page. I don't know who is responsible but it definitely got a lot worse.
App worked fine a year ago. Just keep it simple and safe !
