You’ll need some data to download the app for the first time, but data charges no longer apply when using the SA app itself. If you have a connection, you can do your banking!
Transactional features are available to Standard Bank accounts held in South Africa, Ghana, Uganda, Botswana, Zimbabwe, Zambia, Tanzania, Lesotho, Malawi, eSwatini and Namibia. Keep in mind that some types of payments include transaction fees.
Note that some features may not be available in your region.

Difficult to use
I have a current account and a bond account. I can’t transfer in between them. I have to EFT into the bond to pay extra and I can’t figure out how to get money out of the bond. I tried phoning but I ran out of airtime from waiting so long. I tried emailing and they never got back to me.

Not working
My app hasnt been working for some months now, i just get a message saying error some functions not working.
Latest app update
Your latest app update includes a push notification option on your “MyUpdates” which pushes a message for days old transactions which is of no value and cannot be turned off. I’ve raised this with your digital social media team as an issue as well. Usually your app would get 4 stars for its almost complete user capability. But this update, I’m bringing it down to a 2.
Broken
3rd major update that do not open on my Iphone, pls fix!
To many bugs
I can’t even connect my account to the app. Something must be done. It’s a digital world now.
Bad mobile money transaction support
App needs to be tweaked to send mobile money with no slydepay issues in the front end. Very bad. Not advisable to attempt momo with this app. Is the app going to be synced with Kowri now that Slydepay is going into obsolescence?
Bug or something
Hi Devs , the app can’t do anything for users in Uganda. It says “Invalid user type claim for Ping AR user” Couple of other countries too. Could you have that looked at.
Problems with logging in
It’s not letting me pass the sign in .it completes and nothing signs in
