I have enjoyed using Strava, the maps are great and the recording of stats is faultless. Great way to track your spins with stats, description and pictures.

AI lol

Strava jumping on bandwagon of AI. Like who needs to read the same stats but in text? 🤣

Beware

Good Guns Gordon on

While I had checked frequently on my Apple account subscriptions as to which accounts I would renew.. this didn’t appear. However it does keep taking your money and you have to jump through a few hurdles to cancel your account. It’s a bit of a scam. If you subscribe then cancel immediately and at least you will have the choice to renew manually when they come begging. Otherwise I think any free app you get with a Garmin or COROS etc wearable beats this app. I’ve unsubscribed. They’ve gotten their last underhanded subscription from me.

Mapping runs

I love strava but something that annoys me is the “feature” that links your route planning to the nearest road. Which means when I’m trying to plan a route that goes from road then through an off road trail, strava automatically places the route to the nearest road which is a busy main road that is not safe for running on. I just want to measure my off road trails before I go out on a run guys🙏

Strava is the app of choice among most of my club mates . I have three other sports trackers on my phone but Strava it the one I use consistently.

Subscription paid but not activated

Niall2424 on

Ireland

I paid for my 2024 subscription through the app and it has still not been activated. I have tried using the app support system and that has not worked. I’ve also forwarded many emails including the invoice and I’ve not received any feedback or support only an email to say it has been logged with an ID reference number. Strava customer support is shockingly poor.

Nearly a 5. Mapping a route is complicated and too difficult
